I’ve used lag switches. None of you two know the behavior of a lag switch on this game.
Dan3800 once used lag switch to troll gesp on a private game, ended up just making the match crash lol

If you are the host, bet
You can’t stream when using a lag switch unless you have two systems, one to stream and one to play. And you’ll need a capture card.
If you are lucky enough to not disconnect, the behavior will be the same as a de-sync or partial disconnect when someone has a very jittery connection: everyone on your screen will start sprinting towards a wall.

Bullshit and you know it. You don’t need hardware switch to cut Ethernet RX pair. You just block the game incoming UDP stream, all other data transfers are uninterrupted.

I did the testing because psn players used it against another psn player, the testing was educational and helped better show how connectivity works and for some reason you think people actually use it in common play? Show where please?

I guess if I continue argue with you for another 10 hours the conclusion will be: in that particular game (Dexter uses to show my incompetence) they used lagswitch but it was just because they were bored and used it just to troll me… and anyway it was Illfonic’s fault letting them use lagswitch.

Btw, I didn’t even go to those lengths. While I didn’t use a hardware lag switch all I did was a simple script that would stop all network traffic for a specified amount of time. There’s was no point in taking it further since the results were less than desirable and more often than not when I reconnected to the match I was either dead or downed, because guess what, when you disconnect you are also sprinting in everyone else’s perspective
