the FT is def the problem. after playing almost exclusively as the predator the biggest issue is the reinforcements. even if you manage to isolate a team member and take them out without getting obliterated. the FT is back up to a 4 stack within minutes. also I’m glad to see they nerfed the health and ammo that was the other major problem it was impossible to wear a FT down

There’s a way to stop this: find the radio first motion sensor kill one and instant trap but plasma caster is a bit of a flop now use nets and melee

In my opinion, Reinforcements should disappear as the first option.
2- If you want to keep the reinforcements then send a location to the FT so they can revive ONLY one member, another location ONLY another member.
3- This last option is that reinforcements can only bring back a single member at random. (Similar to jarvis on Friday the 13th) or maximum 2 members.

Option 4, keep reinforcements but as a predator be able to find the radio and have a chance to destroy it before the FT can bring its friends back.

I think If the plasma cannon is a 1 hit fully charged then I dont have trouble with Reinforcements

Absolutely no way to lock on. I would say that if the scout predator has “down range” and the FT member is scout or recon and doesn’t have either “OWLF trained” or “thick skin,” then the fully charged shot should OHK.

I use the long ranged perk and charge full charge shots there should be a reward.

not with any serious lethality but spamming doors and sight lines as suppressing fire to create openings to reposition or disengage is pretty effective. mostly its just emersion breaking to play against a predator that launches one charged shot and a few quick ones then whips out the plasma pistol and spams then drops out of sight only to reappear a few seconds later to do it all over again. rapid fire plasma caster just feels weird to me i guess.

Exactly it was fine before and more in line with the movies now its dumb and weak and i dont want it in my loadout.

i would love it was super powerful but almost impossible to land. basically only good for static targets. like people mudding up or interacting with something. but you would need good game sense to understand where and when those opportunities are going to present themselves. you would need good positioning to get the shot off before you’re noticed or its avoided. and the higher skill your skill lvl the more opportunities you’ll have.

It wasnt a problem before aside from one post i didnt hear any crying now its another broken item amongst all preds other broken shit.
I really think it needs changed back but with sound and fireteam spotting not addressed im not playing anymore i dedicated all day to testing and considering what i could provide as feedback.
And its this illfonic if you are reading its important you listen to the comunity and you nerfed things that people flat out said leave alone and didnt adress the things we said are actually breaking game play please adress pred noise ques and change the spotting perk so it is as affective as us following footprints of a mudded fireteam not this supernatural ability granted to it the entire team, it should not be op the way it is right now revert plasma cannon back and granade launcher back and let us test the resourse and dmg modifications you made aside from those.

I really hate that they changed that its like they buffed other things while nerfing our plasma cannon, im bent on being a scout pred pro b ut its very hard when your that weak and you can hit spot on shots with your plasma caster fully charged but it seems to have no effect, before if i hit a guy with a full charge he would be downed and i could use him as bait, now as a scout pred you kind of have no edge other than just being harassment, also the ai is still so bad i run through camps trying to spawn more ai and everything else and its like it dont even work somtimes, quite frustrating also i dont have enough time to do anything somtimes because the fireteam can just rush the objective with grenade launchers.

That’s the thing, the caster had a learning curve to it especially with targets on the move and with a brain it can be easily avoided but people don’t want that they want it to be easy for them.
