VT depends on....?

My question is, what depends on the quantity of VT that we got during the game as an FT (without those which we collect manually)? I’m asking cause I can not see the pattern. Once I have finished the mission and on the end, I have killed the pred + secured his body, and finally, I’ve got 84 VT for this, and in the literally next game predator kill our whole team in 3 minutes, and I got for that more than 8,5k (!!!) VT. I’m not collecting VT manually. I’m just curious, cause I’m still playing a lot, I can not see for example importance of finishing the extra mission during the game.

You mean the purple stuff? Gosh or are you talking about XP. If you don’t collect, you don’t get anything for finishing I belive. at least not alot. And if you get the Bonus sack of whatever its like a few hundred more. Not sure about the predator…when the game came out he literally got no VT (nothing ). now its a few hundred last i checked and not really worth playing pred for VT. How you managed 8500 VT i’mnot sure. Sounds more like you were looking at the XP score.

8,500 VT on a match sounds like bullshit to me.

We farm VT on a daily basis and after years, I think no one I have played with has gotten more than 6K in a single match

I think that may be a glitch

Then again, for some reason I never get my total VT count at the end of the match while other players do.

You only get vt by finding it in the field or by completing daily/weekly challenges

You get it after completing matches too. Not a lot, but you do. Also when opening crates, when you have a duplicate item you get a certain amount back, from 50 for the basic blue to I think 2500 for the golds.

No way, when you are not collecting those, you still get some at the end of your mission.

That’s why I’ve made that post. I am lv 260 with more than 930k of VT, so they are pretty worthless for me (that’s why I’m not collecting those during the match), but when I saw that quantity on the end, I have started to be curious - maybe someone from here knows something how it is calculated. Or it can be a glitch like @moralez said.

I know there’s a glitch when you have the -1 level bug it shows as if you collected ALL your VT in a single match.

@DPRK_Chopra I believe posted a screenshot one time of over 1 million VT in a match, but that’s a glitch, not an actual thing

The most amount of bricks I’ve found in a match is 5 (2,500 VT). If you collect all the purples and blues and shit you might get between 1500-2000 more. If you complete the mission, kill and secure the body in pristine condition, you may get like 300 more but that’s about it. The bonus VT for securing the body and/or completing objectives is not that much

dude I’ve had it for months now. Don’t even care about reporting it because they’ll probably say “just delete your usersettings.sav and platformsettings.sav files”

already did and it does not solve the problem

and anyway, not that big of a deal for me

My Friend, this is one of the existing Doubts in the Forum, practically since the Launch of the Game.
And the most incredible thing is that until today, Illfonic has not positioned itself on the matter.
I don’t see any vantageous point in the Team collecting VT.
I would prefer that we collect Real Money Notes. Just like the ones in the Quest that we have to Destroy a Machine that Copies Money.
Thus, the Team would collect Money. And the Predators would collect VT.
And We would have 2 “Coins” in the Game.
To get better, I would propose 2 things:

  • End the Field Lockers;
  • And make the Side Quest an Opportunity to Unlock Higher Rarity Items.

Only thing is unlocking stuff directly since a lot of shit does not come out of field lockers

I gave up on lockers after I got all the pred trophies and just use VT to purchase all shaders directly. Right now only shaders I’m missing are for emissary and for the “tank” predlocks once I unlock those (I’m still not level 500)

From early June 2021, apparently.

You get some extra Veritanium when you level up after a match as well, with it being a larger amount on a level ending in 5 and an even greater amount than that on a level ending with 0.

Case solved. As @DPRK_Chopra said, extra VT is when you reach Level ending with 0. Now it’s empirically proven.
