The next group I took on was in Derailed, 1st off I hate that map, 2nd they found the reinforcement radio before I did but I got lucky that I was close but still in second wind. I ran in and trapped the entire building and then aggroed the ai to set off the alarm. They got swarmed and I picked them off 1 by 1 as they panicked lmao š¤£

Just one or two, or not. Most randoms already run away, so maybe Iām just too practiced at defusing. They really need to add a mini game that lets new players practice defusing, so they can be ready once they have the opportunity in game.
A practice mode would be nice, solo or bot whatever way they want to work it. The tutorial doesnāt give enough as the Pred and they should have one for FT as well.

Popiās leg was stuck in a trap and I automatically set off my countdown as soon as I could so there was really no time for escape. Slasher had ran back into the village area away from the temple. We were in Overgrowth and I had set up traps all around the radio next to the temple. It was a heated game and I broke line of sight many times and was jumping around like a mad man on a mission. In the end Popi came up around the steps next to the radio and got the last few shots in but got caught in my last trap that made the match end the way it did. I was looking for pigs but those little buggers never show up when you need them. It was one hell of a fun match though š
The left 4 dead games had good bots. They would follow you, fight and even heal you.

Maybe they can hire the team that made those bots.
Its not just new players or unskilled players. The thing is I see no point in defusing, why bother when I get nothing but another round of boring AI kills (I usually go AFK if someone disarms). So not only you donāt get a reward for defusing, you get a penalty in the form of a boring, mindless shooting up retarded AI.
The reward system in this game needs a complete reworking as well. I donāt see why experience is still given when players are max level. They should be given more in the way of spending cash to buy more in-game items.
Thatās true. I like to imagine stats exist, but youāre right, no point, at max level. They should at least throw 1500 veritanium at you for capturing a body.
At this point I usually just try to do the weekly or the easy daily challenges. But unless your going for multiple exotics, even that gets pointless eventually, and playing fireteam isnāt nearly as fun as playing predator.

They could go with the Pedators approach, multiple preds vs multiple FT, make preds less bullet spongy. Drop in to alien world like the movie/battle royales.
Or make 1 queue and you get assigned pred/ft randomly.
I donāt see any other way to shorten the queue. You need 4 times the ft in the current model, and pred is the star.
I honestly think that matchmaking just isnāt good and it has little to do with the amount of predators. The wait times are so huge that I donāt think the matchmaking system is working properly. Especially since when I do get in a match it often populates it with one other player and doesnāt fill. On that point why would it do this? Open lobbies should obviously be populated before games still going through matchmaking.
At the moment itās taking me 10-20 minutes to get into matches as a predator. Thatās supposedly 20-40 times the amount of predators to an individual FT player roughly, going on the wait times. I donāt think there is that high of a disparity, so I have to conclude thereās a problem with the matchmaking.

To four fifths of the game the Predās an obstacle, not the star. Unless by star you mean the intended target of fully automatic weapons fire, high caliber rounds and the occasional shotgun blast.

Gotta love when the estimated wait time says 6:27 but youāve been waiting for 15:00+ā¦ this games wait times are abysmal.

Just tried 3 fucking times to play pred, each time I waited for 20+ minutes and did not find a match.
Iām really hoping the mode theyāre working on can help. If not this one their going to have to rush out something else thatās simple.
Yeah. And they are pretty old games now, yet they had far superior AI.
