This game is actively dieing. The new map and mode will have to be huge and most bugs will have to be fixed for a huge player base to pick this game back up. We have had zero real free game content tbh. All of the “free” content has been shaders or just ending of early access bs.

Its been 4 months with a few rough patches it isnt dead, now if we were a year into the game and we had the same issue then we could say its a dead game but it isnt dead yet.

The game is somewhat dying in people subconscious cause they see that there is no actual content keeping u intrigued and immersed as much as before… and the devs ain’t doing much listening to actual good suggestions for making it that.
playerbase wise its still climbing i suppose given by the stats… but in reality its killing its concept which is sad… i love the concept

I didn’t say dead. Its more like when Red got shot in the stomach by Teds goons he was slowly dieing. Yes he may have survived but he received aid something this game drastically needs or its going to bleed out like a Yautja being chased by pred hunters in 2nd wind

The main problem is we are in limbo state rn, if the new map/mode doesn’t have enough substant to last and keep the playerbase engaged then yeah were going downhill, its sort of hard judge since it isnt out yet but if things dont get better when the Setember update drops then we can say its dying but not dead. They still have a chance to turn it around.

This game is near 2nd wind. Its Covered in green blood and is hunched over gripping its stomach Desperately looking for a boar because it was too eager and brought no health stims
