Well that was embarrassing..

no its not, not at all… leadership sniper and reckless and your perched up ass in the tree is over with

take a full ps4 squad these changes make sense… but pc with laser beam hitscan… good luck.

I’ve done it with Elder - its doable ;-) Perhaps bit of luck, perhaps bit of cocaine overdose on FT side, perhaps bit of both, but it worked for me few times now

a lot of us who play have several thousands of hours in various FPS games from the beginning of time [I started in the 90’s with DOOM and Wolfenstien as an example] and many of us are vets from games like Alien vs Predator 2000 classic, AVP2, AVP 2010 ect. We are WELL versed in knowing the limitations of Yautja, and of their equipment. Years of playing games from Doom to PHG have taught us what to look for.

Yautja are not quiet, and everything you do as a yautja, has a knock on effect FT can use to track you. Whenever you flash your vision, your “eyes” glow on your biomask even while cloaked, revealing you to the FT. Whenever you jump to a branch, the branch sways and you knock leaves from it plus the noise it makes alerts FT. While you’re cloaked you let out those clicks, which can be tracked via audio.

PHG has surprisingly good sound tuning and positional audio, you can accurately track a pred and even estimate distance based on these sound que’s. And for those of us who play on PC, especially high frames, we’re often wearing headsets and able to accurately pinpoint your positioning.

99% of what you feel is hacking, is likely really good FT players… it’s that 1% over, that’s questionable. As with any game.

Don’t get me wrong I’m not saying it’s a hack. I’m a long standing battlefield player (since bf2 ) …and if anything the older I’m getting the slower and more dodgy my eyes are…and there is some serious cheating in battlefield 5 is why I gave up playing it… But I’m on PC … With a sweet set up… And for the life of me…2 leaps and he’s gone …

I had another game as Pred today… Second wind… Leapt outta dodge all over the show… Found what I thought was a safe spot and boom…whole frikking squad on me. To be fair…they were a whole FT of epic…

I guess I’m still learning the mechanics of the game

Getting sniped 3 times before you land is not impossible

Best to play vs them all the time if you can… you will see when people rotate… the predator never wins… unless he gets the first 2 kills in 3 min
… even then 1 ft try hard may keep u at bay

You know your ready when you see pc squad after pc squad and give zero shits

Not at all, especially if a team’s running 2 snipers. I got sniped out of the air the other night, wasn’t anything surprising about it really, I saw a group of PC players and expected exactly what I got.

I’ve been running FT long enough now to know just how easy FT really have it, and how even moderately “good” player’s working “half assed” together, can utterly rubble a pred who’s not giving it their all.

This game also functions on most of FT’s weapons outside of Plasma Rifle and Launchers, being Hitscan weaponry… that means if I have a direct line of sight to you, ever, I can probably hit you unless geo get’s in the way, and as someone who’s put a lot of time into shooters, and has gotten used to actual ballistic modeling in games and adjusting for such deviations in more realistic shooters… the fact I can just “aim at x spot, fire, and hit x spot” makes this game one of the easier shooters on the market.

Hitscan vs projectile and slow ads… and shitty melee
