There is nothing wrong with the mark itself, the problem is that it literally gives a wall hack to your face, and given that the predator disguise in this game is worse than Solid Snake’s, it’s not a problem to find you at all. And here we have the dilemma: You cannot fight 1 in 4 because they will kill you. And you cannot be secretive because you are visible. It only remains to shoot from behind the shelter.

Honestly the easiest fix and no idea why isnt already a thing. Predator while invisible is unable to be spotted. You can still mark with general spot that he is maybe there. But it won’t track him. If they de cloak, then you should be able to spot track the predator for a bit. That is on the predator then. No way should you be able to spot something by mass spamming the spot key to have a tracker outlining their every movement while invisible. Kind of defeats the purpose of being invisible does it not?

There is a solution MORE simpler, complete invisibility of a predator at a certain distance. Comes closer - ok, distortions appear. 30+ meters - it is not visible. Yes, it complicates the fight with a ranged predator but … who said that it will be simple.

i could not see that working well in game it means if you leap 1 time you become invisible to the fire team so there is no point in tracking you because your invisible and can heal up and do whatever you like outside of 30 m range heal and go back in without a problem that in my eye is game breaking

Let’s be honest. If it’s on PC with this type of game, it is EXTREMELY easy to use cheating software and catch no flack for it. Mods are in abundance for almost any game on PC in abundance. I would not be suprised if there was a huge modding problem on PC. Especially since it’s just been recently released with no counter to said players. I dont think its wise to put down players that report this because theres a big chance that if effective counters are not put into this game then it will be a problem real quick. So I just want to say that rather than say, “Oh theres no way people are cheating.” We should keep notes of these reports and come up with effective ways to clean up the mess BEFORE it actually does become a problem. Dont be shy to report stuff like that.
