I’ve never had that happen outside of overly aggressive teamates and even then they tend to be on comms and I can call them back.
Ya but how long would a FT really last. Obviously the point of Pred would be to chip the FT down but what about the FT that got chipped down first? Then they’d be sitting dealing with having to watch a match.

Downsides are a legitimate way to balance.
The kraber can one shot in TF2. But it’s projectile.
In siege Ash is fastz but she’s soft

You could argue that not using downsides is objectivly better because it gives better power fantasies but even then that would mean anything balanced around everything being broken so nothing is broken is the best way to balance and that doesn’t mean using downsides is objectivly bad.
