The comics clash with the movies all day and are trying to make them space samurai & not Most Dangerous Game.
comic writers are lost in the sauce as usual because space samurai are easier to write

Very of its time, over the top action, 90s style of filming, raunchy, opens up the franchise more, Danny boy messed up City while Dutch was lucky enough to live. 🤘

Upgrade shits on everyone by virtue of having spiderman caster dodging reflexes and ragdolling preds with one hand.
Unless Wolf flies a ship into him its a wrap given how easily predalien knocked the whip out of his hand.
Depending on whether Upgrade is acid proof predalien may win a battle of attrition, don’t think hes immune to a tail through the face & enough acid if he just gets bodies thrown at him.

Ok the main reason I think of it with Cleopatra is like this:
So you have the average Predator Player on this game (equivalent of Jungle Hunter), they kill loads of original kind of Fireteams (Assault, Scout, Recon, Support) people who if we are talking like a movie, have no real idea what a Predator is.
If we take Dutch 2025 and Isabelle with their OWLF Operatives trained to kill Predators, the Jungle Hunter won’t stand a chance. Its like the equivalent of Gesp, ThunderWolf, Samhain, Maax Montenegrov fighting an average casual PS Predator who mightve been here since day one, but ofc doesn’t die in 2 seconds flat.
Then you take Cleopatra, who killed Dutch’s team of trained Predator killers effortlessly, and even allowed Dutch to live, pinning him to a wall with a net gun, and making him watch, as she slaughtered his entire team, without breaking a sweat, and let him live.
There is no way on this earth you can convince me, that Cleopatra isn’t at the very least an Elite Rank Yautja. She killed a team of hardened Veterans who had trained, hunted down, and killed Predators before for years, and she did it easily. It would be like a Smart Disc Pred main playing against a team with every counteract to the Disc (ACIGs, PDLs, EMP mines, UAV scanners) and still winning without breaking a sweat.
Dutch even said it himself that she looked like “Royalty” and way more “ornate” with her choice of armour. He said that the Predators would “send better Hunters every time”, and she was “smarter, stronger, deadlier” and she “didn’t fuck around like the Males did”
This already puts her at the same Rank as Wolf, and more ruthless than any Predator seen in the movies so far, on a par with Wolf. I can’t really decide whether she’d be more badass, due to lack of information known about her, but the potential is definitely there, that she could be so.
If Wolf was at full power with all his weapons, that includes 2 Plasma Casters, Whip, multiple Shurikens etc. Then no matter how adept the Upgrade’s reflexes are, he can’t dodge all of these, and he sure as hell can’t survive all this damage as the humans were able to kill him via sustained gunfire and explosive damage.
He would not be able to dodge, nor survive 2 Plasma shots and 2 Shurikens being barrage at him. The question of whether Wolf would use melee combat in honor, is put aside in that I think he would be ruthless enough, to use whatever he had to, to eradicate the Bad Blood, Upgraded Predator. He does after all have symbols on his mask showcasing kills of Predaliens, Queens and Bad Bloods.

He effortlessly dodged fugitive’s from like 3 ft away with practically zero travel time, effortlessly dodged him in melee, threw him around a bit and broke his wristblades. Wolf couldn’t hit a couple xenos moving in a straight line and lost both casters.
He was only killed by a weapon from his own arm after it was cut off by his ship shield. His explosive wristblade thing that just instakills preds.
Thing is designed to terminate preds end of story.

Fugitive was only a Blooded gone Rogue at best.
Wolf is about as Elite as they come. Also way more heavily armed and smarter than Fugitive. He wouldn’t be stupid enough to engage in CQC with an opponent over 3 feet taller than him and physically stronger. He also has a vision mode that functions like an X-ray so he would likely be able to single out any weaknesses in the Upgrade’s armour and Target them.
I mean Upgrade got stabbed and shot in the head and it drew blood and eventually killed him. If Wolf caught him off guard with a Plasma shot to the face, i have no doubt he would be at the very least blinded, and likely have his face blown away.
Fugitive ran at him because he already knew he was dead lol.
His own wrist rocket killed him. nothing to do with the people jumping on his back

True that’s fair.
Also true, but he still had blood drawn from his face from those weapons, so if a more deadly weapon such as a Shuriken or Plasma shot were to hit him in the face he would probably have half his face blown off. Depending on where the fight were to take place also, Wolf may even be able to use smaller areas to his advantage as he is smaller and more nimble than the Upgrade.
Also what if Wolf were to jump on top of his back and pour the dissolving liquid in his mouth? That would be game over for sure
I’m one of those too. I grew up watching 1 and 2 late night on tv, but 2 always stood out to me for some reason, so watching them as an adult where I can apply proper analysis and criticism, 2 overall stands out for me.
This completely misses the point. And I’m excited for Prey.
The arguement isn’t female bad. It’s that Hollywood has had a terrible track record with female representation.

Not IMO but I can understand where you’re coming from with that.
Sometimes myself I will sit down and decide to watch Predator 2 instead of the original.
I do prefer the original and Predators 2010, but I do prefer the City Hunter to the Jungle Hunter, and the scene in the alley with King Willie… 👌 masterpiece. The soundtrack for that scene is arguably the best in the franchise. The City Hunter also had the best death of any Predator in the franchise IMO alongside Chopper.
Oh no me too I’m excited for Prey! I also know how Hollywood represents things sometimes, but I feel like this’ll be good or hope so

Yes. In a hunt. The AvP team up made sense in the limited way that the predator could use the help and she proved she could fight.
I’m not sure if it’s a hot take, but I will never include the “Upgrade Predator” or “hybrid Predator hounds” in my head cannon. Basically, after the fugitive predator escapes the scientists, the 2018 movie ends for me.
