So basically you’re saying if you just ignore half the established lore of the characters then it makes it a closer fight. Predators literally have to kill a Xenomorph to reach Blooded Rank.

The Jungle Hunter literally effortlessly killed countless elite soldiers for many years and only died in the end due to a multitude of reasons including heavily holding back on Dutch, pure dumb luck on Dutch’s part, and plot armor.

Did you forget that the Predators in AVP also died & failed their hunt? Chopper died without killing a single Xenomorph due to being too reckless & having no spacial awareness. Celtic died because of plot armor aswell like the Jungle Hunter tbf to him but he was still reckless & blatantly not as skilled as the Jungle Hunter, and then Scar also died due to a lack of spacial awareness & complacency. Heck, the only reason Scar survived for as long as he did was because he was the least aggressive of the 3 brothers.

If the Jungle Hunter is more experienced than the 3 Brothers and he is much better at hunting humans than the Young Bloods are, and he has already killed Xenomorphs before which the Young Bloods weren’t particularly successful at, how can you possibly say any of the Young Bloods could beat him in a fight?

If all you’re saying is that the Young Bloods are skilled then sure, but they are nowhere near the skill level of the Jungle Hunter.

Thats said about some predator clans, it was never pushed as a rule for all, AVP2004 clan, og avp comic clan did that.

But in most its never implied that

I doubt all predator clans follow same rules and rituals.

Not every Predator Clan will have the same blooding rituals no, but it is widely considered & assumed to be the norm for most Clans. Xenomorphs tend to be the most common prey choice in Yautja blooding rituals because they are considered by the Yautja to be the ultimate Prey, and therefore the ultimate test of a Young Blood’s skills to initiate them into adulthood & thus the Blooded Rank.

When there are thousands of clans maybe?

Before Avp this wasnt a thing, its fictional so anything can be retconned but the fact that preds in other clans dont have any acid mark on their foreheads proves they dont follow same ritual as the Avp2004 clan.

Predators can still become Blooded without quite literally burning themselves with Xenomorph Blood.

Dark Predator’s initiation with the Elite Clan for example quite literally just included him essentially having a cage fight with multiple Xenomorph Warriors & killing them with his Wristblades before being rewarded a Plasma Caster & then having to kill more Xenomorphs before he was then Blooded & ascended to Elite Rank within the same trial. All while being overseen by Spartan, Hunter & Wolf.

All Clans undergo a blooding ritual of some kind. Whether they do it against Xenomorphs specifically or another species can vary, and if they do it against Xenomorphs not all of them necessarily will decide to mark themselves with the acidic blood. I would moreso pin the Isolated Clan’s tradition as marking themselves with the blood of the Xenomorphs as opposed to merely hunting them in general.

On the original sources that made up the blooding thing it says the burning comes with it

That has never been stated in any official material, saying “all” is a stretch, later sources implied in P2, CH was being tested, but it wasnt a blooding ritual.

Yes, it’s a different Clan from the Isolated Clan. That’s the point. They can have similar yet different Blooding rituals.

The City Hunter was probably Newly Blooded & had just never hunted humans before seeing as he had a Xenomorph Warrior’s skull on his trophy wall. He was seemingly allowed to go on his own hunt while only being supervised from afar by the Elders like Greyback & Shaman. They obviously deemed him to be on too much of a rampage as they were going to send in Warrior Predator (arguably the most skilled fighter in the clan) to bring him back to the ship to stop him killing too many people. Predators can still be ‘tested’ outside of the Young Blood rank.
