I switched between Medic and Trapper. Emet and Griffin favorite for sure.
I was bummed that I couldn’t just throw samurai armor on my pred but these posts are excessive.
It doesn’t matter necessarily that the dlcs are or aren’t op. The point of saying pay to win is to remind people that they expect you to pay for different classes, not just skins. While it may not have disrupted the game balance yet (what little there is) it certainly has the potential.
Why do you care though… id be more mad about the fact that i cant even play because the wait times literally work better as a timer for baking cookies than as a countdown to matches starting
I’m sorry you’re disappointed with the body-locked Predator classes.
Since all of the standard FT and Predator classes have body types it would have been nice for Elder and Samurai to have those options as well.
Hopefully you still have fun with the class, or at least are able to enjoy using the Top Knot and Katana with your favorite customized Hunter/Scout/Berserker class.

There’s this thing called rational discussion, some people come on these forums and vent their frustration in a completely negative and unconstructive way expecting positive results or even approval. For example -

Not going to read your entire post because you annoyed within the first few lines regarding Elder not being able to be female. If you were a fan of the predator franchise you would realize the Elder model is based on Greyback from Predator 2. It’s like asking for a female version of '87 Jungle Hunter…seriously this post is a garbage rant.
PS: I promise I know more about the trans lifestyle than you do, both from the psychological POV as well as the human sexuality POV. Im sure you read a few articles, know a trans person or 2, and have REAL STRONK FEELS about trans rights and trans place in society, but don’t expect educated and informed people to buy into that nonsense. You want to go advocate for trans rights, go ahead. I will put my time into advocating for more than a SLIVER of the human population who’s brain is clearly just wired wrong.

The only thing that emerges clearly is you’re unconfortable being around people that have gender identity issues. Wouldn’t be surprised if you also tried to argue that gay people are degenerates that should hide or stay away from society.

Now in this context I won’t go over the important distinction between people with gender disphoria and trans people that don’t have it; Nor will I waste time in explaining the meaning and implications of the distinction between sex and gender, and the reasons why being “trans” is as real as having a personality. If you really want to understand it, because it’s clear that you don’t, again educate yourself and maybe hit me up via PMs.
As always, I am optimistic and hope people mean well. Maybe you just need educate yourself since you seem interested in this topic. But as I see it, we’ve got a couple different possibilities here:
- If by “catering to a small % of people with issues” you only mean that we should not bend over to every whim any type of people might have, I completely agree, as any person with half a brain would. But I think that I made this plenty clear in my previous posts.
The thing is, I suspect that by “catering to” you mean a very different thing. In this particular case, I suspect that you might really mean it shouldn’t “consider”, “respect”, “make sure they are treated as any other human being”.

If by not having to “cater” to small percentages you mean that society should also for example, not give assistance or support to people with disabilites, physical or mental issues, and so on, then ok, we have nothing in common politically, and I think you are morally abhorrent. Although that might make for an interesting conversation on another day.

Having gone through university, they care more about pushing their agenda than teaching facts, but that’s not the point I’m here to make. Gender dysphoria is a subset of Body dysphoria, and multiple studies, including the famous Meyers study of SBCU will go into details that the surgery turns out to be ineffective, because the part of your brain that says something is wrong with you isn’t fixed in the surgery.
But there are two things I feel above all else. 1 Facts trump everything else. 2 I don’t care about your personal lives. If you want the surgery, or feel a certain way and won’t get treated, I don’t care, don’t try to get me involved in your life. We’re just passing ships at sea, and the more time you make me deal with your issues to make you think you feel better, the more time I have to spend with you rather than moving on.
I would dedinitely need data on that, because I know that there are meta-analyses that suggest the exact opposite, in a pretty clear way.
Oh absolutely. That’s the exact reason why, if there is enough evidence to support its efficacy, people should be able to access this type of treatment. I am not one that thinks that it should be one way or another for ever&ever because reasons. I care about facts. If facts suggest that people will be healthier, happier and more free in a specific way, as long as that course of action doesn’t infringe anyone’s rights or freedom, then I am all for it.
By the same token if people scream and whine because something does not match their feels or baseless ideology, but following those feels means making life measurably worse for another group of people, then I think they should, to put it in a civil manner, reconsider their positions and step aside.
