Only memers say it like criiiinge. Not only that you said zerk is never gonna catch on? You mean the class or calling em that? Cause using zerk to shorten beserker has been around for years.

Berserker is not op, aim at fps games is op and who is terrible at that is just fuckedz not because berserker is op but because people are bad at the game simply.

Plenty of people use zerk even on here, itās been a long time used term to shorten beserker in many games. So the fact that you come all, ItL nEvEr CaTcH oN its cringe, shows you dont really know wtf youāre talking about. The one out of touch is you. And the term memer was something I came up with for these stupid annoying ass kids who try to turn everything into a meme, I came up with it when they all started popping up outa nowhere. Not for ppl who simply enjoy memes.

Im only playing Hunter, but posts like these make me cringe so much, that Im gonna be maining Berserker ONLY till the next update! The salt is too stronge with this one and I need to react somehow!!
Iām halfway on the fence with this. Most time when itās a berserker the moment I hear them they are storming in and attacking. No stalking, no hunting, no taking pot shots, just runs in and starts swinging.
Sometimes the group can fend him off, even 2nd wind him, but most of the time he has two people down before you can even get on the mic. Donāt get me wrong, I know some groups are bad, not using any mics, or people just run off trying to solo the game. Yes, those are easy wipes. When at least 3 people are shooting at him and he can still get off one even two kills before he retreats, something is wrong.
One round I was using the LMG and even had perk to dose more damage to the Predator. I hear him. Get on the mic to let everyone know. We group up, but still spread out. He jumps in, 2 hits, down goes the first one. He even claims the body. We all start shooting. He runs over to another person, 2 hits, another one down. 2nd wind hits and he ran away. I put almost a full Mag into him at a distance that I could not miss. Not to mention what everyone else did. WTF!!!
NOBODY will find that type of gameplay fun but the Predator. People will rage, then they will stop playing the game.
Iām not saying the class needs a big nerf, but something needs to be change. The other classes seem to work fine. They have to work to take out all 4 people and most rounds itās more of a fight. Hell even if we lose it was still a fun round. When 90% of the Predators are Berserker class that should tell you something.
For all those on here saying just get good or people are just salty cause they keep getting killed, Iām just trying to make the game better for everyone.

I donāt agree with just quitting a match, but i would also say that most players in this game arenāt elite players and can effectively win against Zerkers. what they need to do instead of keep nerfing and buffing is have a ranking system. so that the good players get matches with the other good players, and the not so good players get matched with the other not so good players.

That is how you play the class but I donāt feel drawbacks to the class are right. You can still be a Berserker but have lower health/high damage, or maybe same health but make him swing or run or turn slower. Maybe when he runs out of stamina he becomes very slow. Maybe you have to roar get a buff that only last so long. Maybe his health is the same at the start but in but after 2nd wind it goes up. Limit the amount of times you can run the classā¦Last one is kinda dumb, but something.
A good ranking system my fix the issue. Most of the time I just queue up into games and the times I do kill the Predator is when I have a good team, but that happens maybe 1 out 20.
i think leaving his health would be fine if they took away his extra melee damage, because that combined with a perk like fearless just makes him down people too easily. people always like to bring up knife parrying like itās the easiest thing in the world, if you donāt time your parryās right he will down you before you block an attack. i think the ranking system would help in alot of ways also, you will always have those players that de rank, just so they have an easier time winning matches, but i think it could be a good place to start.

Iām not going to lie and call Berserker a push over. Typically if i get killed its from a Berserker, but they arenāt invincibleā¦
The big trick is to

stay together. Not huddled together because you donāt what them to use that flying smash attack, but just try not to break line of sight with each otherā¦

SPOT SPOT SPOT! Shooting at the Berserker when 2 of your teammates are down is typically too late. You all need to communicate, and if you cant use mikes, then keep track of the Pred via the Spot mechanicā¦

Play aggressive. Donāt chase him off into the jungle all alone, but light his ass up anytime you have a clear shot.

Learn to Parry. That doesnāt mean ā1v1, Broā, but if you listened to the other 3 bits of advice, then you should be able to fend him off with Stun locking parties as you teammates pump his Alien guts full of leadā¦
And that leads us to our 5th step. -
Play as a team. As the FireTeam you have the the most important advantage over the pred. 3 other guys to watch your back and pick you up when you go downā¦
One good teammate is way stronger than anything the Pred has in its arsenal, 3 good teammates, and youāre fucking unstoppableā¦
But remember, getting good teamplay comes from giving good team play. That means watch out fir your buddies just the same as you would expect them to watch out for youā¦

I cant say before 2010, but Iāve seen it pretty often since then. Whether or not you never heard it before, donāt like it, w/e doesnāt change that itās been used.
