They have this mechanic called “parrying”, that might help you with the wristblades
You can get a world record on random nameless players all you want it shows an underlying issue with our playerbase… however if you were to do this with a handful of players that weren’t using some type of troll build and played normally it would be a different story

Not only did players massively improve since then but if we actually came back to old invisibility with the experience we have now it would be a massacre, currently Feral has that old cloak as a bug and it’s silly
We already know the game is broken but there has become and insane mixture upon the demographic in all regards
Weirdly there is some actual depth to be found within extremes of simple aspects to which many are mute to, the game is inherently simple due to illfonics forced philosophy of simple to pick up but hard to master to which I think they even said in an interview, there is many toss ups in the mix and you might be able to maintain the same ideology of fireteam being busted to shit but now you have to be fair with comparison as potential advantage doesn’t amount to actual advantage for some people from what I remember with you specifically, which is an argument that can be had with many console players where they think every PC player is using every exploit in the games existence every… single… game.
Thought I’d just say some words since this is quite the special occasion, this is not trying to attack you but merely make a jab that there is much more that happened in between what you once knew vs what has happened especially since there is clear animosity to a foundation of gameplay that was changed 4 years ago… warranted but not realistic, and fanatic and reckless damage bug essentially put that to shame, it changed everything…
Some may even wish that the problems were that simple as to get mad at fireteam for the old cloak, the problems would be so much more black and white if that were the case 🥲

Other than the game having different cloak types and a few obviously copy and pasted bps it just seems like the cloak just doesn’t have the proximity logic working like the others, there is a small mechanic in place for cloaked preds where they are harder to see at a certain distance in approximation to fireteams individually

BTW the game was already out for2yrs before I quit. The game was already dead pretty much after the first year I believe in 2020, I quit playing it in late 2022. Better games came out like elden ring, tarkov, and a few others. PHG was a console game and should have stayed that way
