Where is the 4k resolution update?

Ok let’s set the record straight

No console is able to RENDER games in 4K@60FPS. Period. They just don’t have the processing power to render each of the pixels. Most games render at either 720P or 1080P and then upscale. PS5 may be able to do 2K (1440P), though I have not read anything about it.

That being said, most PC GPU’s also don’t have the processing power to render 4K resolutions at 60FPS. That’s why Nvidia introduced stuff like DLSS, AMD introduced FidelityFX and some games even have their own internal resolution scaling.

Right now only the RTX3080 and RTX3090 are able to push 60 FPS on most titles at 4K resolutions.

PHG on my 1070 Ti barely makes 25 FPS at 4K resolution even on lowest graphic settings

I’ve seen n a few articles saying there are a very few select games that can do real 4k on PS4 pro but most do checkerboard rendering or super sampling

I tried looking for which games are true 4k gave up after a short while

I will say this though

The difference between PS4 and the pro is night and day and we’ll worth the investment

HDR lighting alone makes games so much more immersive

Best article I found was this

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/digitalfoundry-2017-every-native-4k-ps4-pro-game-tested

Is basically a math problem.

the TFLOPs needed for true 4K rendering are just not there. And like I said, even on PC most GPU’s fall short as well.

That’s why on PC 1440P is still king and even 1080P if you game on a 24-27 inch monitor

Your hacks aren’t strong enough.
Mine are better.

You sure?

They need to sort out their dlc content and bugs before doing minor crap like 4k resolution.

Of my sentence? Yes, i’m sure.

Are they redoing the Legacy of Kain series?

I wish they would, but nope.
