WHERE’S THE UPDATE?

Those types of responses are the ones easiest swept under the rug

See what goodwill a little communication can do though? Isn’t it nice?

You won’t ever hear me disagree, I am a proponent for proper communication and community development. Both are very important to growing games in this genre.

This rug is company sized and full of sped level code ROFL. PPPS slam tethering is still broken and I’m not telling you how to fix this time O>O

Well, tbh, there’s no formal vetting of what I am sharing here, so we’ll see :p

New map: Definite departure from previous maps. Will force entirely new engagement tactics from the Predator and may be harder for Predators to get a solid drop on Fireteam, but Fireteam could also be more severely punished by misdirection. Really curious to see how the community will take it. I like the new map a lot but it can be stressful.

New mode: Faster and quicker time to the action. Significantly different experience from the current mode. Lots of opportunities for clutch moments.

Hmm so only one pred again. Bummer.

Impatient imo isn’t the word I think justifies said, right to be upset about how things have rolled out.

Its just attempting to build somewhat of a positive base. Oldking is trying, but unfortunately you can try to say as many nice and great things about social media but if the game doesn’t work as promised, what are you truly gonna expect?

This game has kept me basically alive through this quarantine due to my love for Predator. So I cant thank you guys enough.

BUT.

I’d love for either updates to provide improvements and not destroy the game. (Sort of feel worried about future updates)

Or.

Communicate appropriately and reconcile with your fanbase. Havent really seen an apology on anyones end about anything, not working. Just sort of shoved under the rug and hopefully patched at later dates.

Apologizing isn’t a sign of weakness. It isn’t a sign of not knowing what your doing. It acknowledges people and provides hope.

Something we need during this truly messed up time on this space rock.

Appreciated, I look forward to seeing what the team has in store for us.

Faster engagement time, interesting. Not enough to speculate on but interesting none the less.

PS. I didn’t think you’re posts were vetted, just that you have some might tight guidelines to stay between. I get it and do understand the necessity.

Honestly retyped it like 6 times because I wanted to share what I can that wouldn’t break what I couldn’t share.

Pool of jello would be fun loool

@OldKingHamlet

Hear me out

Battle royale

Match starts out with everyone as FT and plays like a standard battle royale once a player hits so many points or gets so many kills they get to be the predator (like hero system in star wars battlefront 2)

Maybe there can be 3 preds in a game

When a pred is killed the next player to get required points/kills becomes pred

The cycle repeats until time is over

Player with most points wins

You dont have to be pred to win either

It’s like a power up

I have a lot of hope that communication can expand along with community engagement as things progress. There’s definitely room to grow, but it’s not a do it and it’s done type of thing. It’s a process, I spend far to much time thinking about for someone who isn’t paid to think about it.
Just gonna take it one step at a time, get mods, convince them they need to have some form of scheduled Vlog or even written announcements/articles about how each department contributes to the whole. Talk about roadmaps and how they can be improved, maybe make more advertising suggestions (getting Ohmwrecker to upload was good, maybe find a few others or expand and get some of his group in on playing when new stuff drops. Groups do better than solos for content generation, it propagates further for less investment. Developers can benefit greatly from having those YouTube relationships.)

PS. I really enjoy Cartoonz PHG content, he’s part of the same group but has fun with it and makes it look like a blast to play even if you don’t know what you’re doing.
YouTuber’s if guided can be excellent teachers, they can be given points to highlight during matches. Either tactics that work or clarification on how things work or even cool features the devs added to maps.

The game has issues no doubt about that but you don’t have to be so rude

Surely. I tried twitching and tossing some videos here and there. Nothing special or crazy.

Gave it up though cause I actually have to get an actual job lol

Surely the community will he a great help.

Well, yeah, cause we’ve been mad busy on a myriad of things. Sorry. People don’t often realize, but if you don’t have the end of the year planned before the end of September, things almost always go sideways.

If it is I see no point in anyone continuing to play the game tbh.

I’m tired of only ft getting to team up.

Communities are a great help, nothing wrong with using what exists. The thing is if you have an advertisement budget that includes them, you can boost those streamers that are also fans. You can get them in on it, say one of our streams is small or has a YouTube but doesn’t get as much traffic as they should for how good their content is.

They can’t email a bigger YouTuber who isn’t as knowledgeable about the game and be like hey we should do a stream together, they’re likely to be ignored. However if that bigger YouTuber’s rep at illfonic gives them a list of people who they might consider streaming with or arranges matches with Devs, the devs can simply invite them and give them a boost that way.

You’re encouraging good information and that’s part of the job.
