Yes however you cant really blame the players who use Combistick because its not like they have control over when the bug occurs or not.

I don’t blame them, but who uses bugged stuff have no right to complain about other players using bugged stuff.
Like FT using Fanatic complaining about Combi throw or Axe. And vice versa.
So let me get this straight:
Via this logic, and tell me if I’m wrong, I would not be able to call a Fireteam shit if they use 4 Fanatics and/or Leaders Vs me, just because I use a weapon that on a rare occasion will one shot someone if it hits them from behind?

Also, it’s “rare” because it is yet to be found the mechanics that causes it. Once people finds it, it’s gonna be a game changer.
Sounds a bit bullshitty IMO but yeah. Predators don’t have any control over when their Combistick one shots people, Fireteam always have control over their Fanatic and Leader exploits.
There’s a fairly valid difference.
It’s different. But if you now beforehand they’re bugged, and you choose to use it anyways knowing that when it happens will be in your advantage, you can’t complain when players use Fanatic against you, because players can also run Fanatic without forcing the bug, playing normally.
So I’m an exploiter purely because I use the fucking Combistick?🤣

As Pred it’s very hard to tell if the bug happened as ypu don’t know exactly how much HP the FT had before the throw. Unless it’s right in the beginning of the match and you know the base HP is higher than most damage of your throw.
Even most of FT players won’t realize it happened to them, because only experienced players know the damage the combi deals.
What i can say is it happens. Not often but it does. Can’t really tell the frequency because not every player uses combi and not every user throws it.
But let’s get to the facts.
It’s bugged? Yes.
People know it? Yes.
People would still use it if the bug worked the other way around (dealing no damage)? Prolly not and would lose their minds on this forum and praise Illfonic to fix it.

Are there certain things you’re aware of that trigger the bug so it can be avoided?
I use the combi throw all the time. Rarely does it down anyone unless headshot on a light class with other damage stacks

Well i have a theory. Not tested. Not that anything made me think about that. Just a theory, a feeling.
I think it happens when the combi hits the FT and get stuck at the same time on an obstacle (wall, fence, ground, etc). Like when the combi gets stuck, it is still touching the FT that hit in the first place.
I’m saying this because it happened twice, as far as i remember with me. On the first i was against a fence. On the second i was on the ground but the Pred was on a tree brench and hit me from above. The first time i’m 100% sure it wasn’t a headshot. The second time i can’t tell cause i wasn’t facing the Pred’s position.
Ok. So if true that’s gotta be pretty rare right?

Well for one thing I only ever really get annoyed if its more than 2 Fanatics or Leaders, or there are PDLs, Field Medics, 9 second spot, Support, Dante. And whenever I am playing Fireteam, if my one or 2 teammates are already using Fanatic then I won’t use Fanatic.
Also there are only really 4 viable weapons that Predators can use against good teams excluding the Plasma Caster and that’s the Combistick, Bow(reliant on ping), Plasma Pistol(reliant on ping) and Smart Disc(unplayable without less than 40ms on PS4, slightly better on PS5).
Against potatoes I don’t care what they use because if they can’t aim, they can’t really kill me, but singling out players purely because they use the Combistick is just a bit bullshit IMO.
It’d be like singling out users of the SAWZ-50 purely because it can take about 40% of a Predators health bar with certain damage buffs and exploits under certain situations.

Considering people don’t really know how to trigger it, yes. But once people find it, they’re gonna exploit it.
I been telling you this for years. Adding stamina cost for pred jumping is a shit idea. In a game where mobility is the only real way to stay alive, you cant limit that so drastically.
Second your balancing idea for it sucks.
The only way adding stamina cost for jumps would work, is to have way better stealth. But look at the movies. You really think simple jumps are gonna take any real effort from preds?
And I’m telling you this as someone who hates the bow hopping.
My point is dont try to shut someone down who’s given good points.
