There is a lot of fiction written about Predator universe. Majority of stories assume they hunt challenging prey to prove themselves for both social status and mating rights. Predators follow their honor code which tells them not to kill unarmed, pregnant, children, unworthy, etc. So if human refuse to fight predator he would probably ignore such opponent or maybe predator would help him. That happened in AvP movie and it happens in this game too. If FT does T pose, it is common for “I give up, please don’t kill me”. Some predator players accept that and help FT finish the mission, some ignore it and mercilessly kills them. In the fiction they also state that predators aren’t open to share their knowledge with other species. So the question is, what would change their mind to give up on using humans for trophies and share their knowledge with them.

In terms of current movies, they are. For example they are able of interstellar travel (maybe even intergalactic), we are happy to get to our orbit and few times to moon. They are superior in strength and technology. If you count kills in movies, how many predators died and how many humans died?

If they were so advanced like you all say, why do they need stuff like cloaking devices and shoulder cannons against those inferior humans? Why do they need to set up traps for their “prey”?
Because they would never survive any open confrontation against us, just like in the game. They would get melted in seconds and they are scared of it.
And even when they use all their clever traps and stuff, the Humans always proved to be more clever in the end.
They think its funny watching people die in bear traps and see if their friends come to help them tbh so they can stab them in the back

Deer hunting is hunting for deer for meat or sport. These days we humans hunt dears more for sport than food. Predators hunt humans for sport and I doubt they would have problem with eating human flesh. Sounds disgusting? Yet we prefer to eat pigs over dogs even pigs are smarter.
So you see my point that using tools and weapons does not make race inferior. Or do you think humans are inferior to fish?
I agree that predators are damn bastards by hunting humans for sport. However I disagree they are inferior race for points I stated above. Yes, they got eventually killed in movies, but it was collective effort of many humans. I would say they choose hunt humans because even inferior race may outsmart them. In fiction they state most desired prey for predators are aliens. Humans are hunted because they are cunning.

Depends on the goal. If the goal is to swim 20 km without resurfacing, then yes, Humans are inferior to fish.
If the Goal is to survive a hunt against an alien and my culture enables me to easily team up with other humans to have better chances of survival, then I see this as an advantage over some species that feel being bound towards certain codes of honour.
Adaptability is what made us Humans the dominant Species here on Earth, nothing else, and if Predators are not able to adapt to new Situations as fast as their Human “Prey”, then I see them being inferior.
I grew up hunting and fishing for food and environmental adjustment purposes, maybe you live in another country where this is not the case anymore, but hunting(and fishing) animals for food is still a big part in many people’s lives, even today.
But seeing your PETA link where the intellectual capacity of pigs and dogs are used for propaganda purposes makes me think it is pointless to debate about that topic.
Because we can’t catch a deer in a sprint and punch it to death whereas Preds are superior to humans in every way.
Traps and dogs are just expensive toys to watch people get mauled really.
Finally we got the point… So you think that humans are superior to predators in adaptation/cooperation? That may be true… it is like compare lions and humans. Humans are inferior species to lions in strength, lions are inferior species in inteligence to humans. In my opinion predators are superior to humans in more ways than humans are superior to predators.
I used first link which appeared on Google search. I assure you, that I enjoy fish, pork, beef, boar, chicken meat and I don’t have anything against killing animals for food. My point was that we humans kill animals for sport too and we are not picky about animal inteligence when it come to food purposes.
