This thread was words being placed in another’s mouth and really weak trolling lmao.
Also totally agree on the Youtuber Drama shit, it’s disheartening to see your favorite content creators become what you wanted to escape from by watching YT in the first place.
lol @ germany. aside from turning people into a commodity and brothels turning the surrounding area in a shithole.
Drug use and trade within brothels is still the same, they still pay no taxes, there is still human trafficking, there is still no way to enforce health standards (which Germans assume are solved by them simply having the OPTION to get tested for STDs using taxpayer funds) and it is still run by criminal enterprises. All you have done is created an island for criminal organisations where they won’t be prosecuted because they can mask their criminal activity far more easily than elsewhere. trend is to seek out women w/ an inability to speak multiple languages and promise a job in Germany and instead held as sex slaves then get traded off to some Arab sheikh. And a lot of this is hidden by having one brothel that is open to the public where they do everything legitimately and then a second one which people can only find out about from whispers.
But at least Germans can feel glad that by embracing the free market, they did good in ensuring that prostitutes occasionally go get tested for STDs using government insurance lol. Assuming they ever actually go there considering the fact that they would need to pay taxes if they were to announce to the government that they are prostitutes. At least that way they can sleep easy at night.
I’m not familiar with the German system but it sounds like it’s no better than the Australian one. If the system doesn’t protect people then it isn’t worth duplicating elsewhere. The whole point of legalizing and regulating is to put a stop to criminal organizations profiting and to put an end to trafficking.
That’s good advice regardless of whether you payed for it.
Subject of prostitution, it is legal in the U.S. in Nevada just outside of Vegas city limits, but that is about the only place I am aware of in the states. As for other countries I believe I have heard in Sweden it is legal and they typically have the lowest crime rates and pretty nice country to live in
