why the valkyrie nerf?
Theres no such thing as actual power creep.
By that logic you want nothing to be better or stronger.
That’s fucking boring and lame.
Things should always improve and evolve.
But valk wasnt power creep, it was simply at a good state.

Valk didnt need a nerf.
Power creep is a set of items being so strong that they ruin the old equipment.
If Pred needs a buff make it a blanket wide and actually balance new content.

No I didn’t. I said I wanted everything at base to be buffed. Then new content can be as good as the old stuff.
And they ended up bringing everything back effectively ending the power creep.
Power creep is relative to the new gear versus the old gear. Not the new gear versus the current meta.
The problem with only having new gear being good is that only the new gear is good effectively killing variety.
I also think Pred needs a blanket wide buff. Including Valk. It’s essentially what you want just in a different execution.
In fact be nerfing Valk you also have the capacity to blanket wide nerf FT instead if that provides better balance and gameplay.
You at one point agreed valk was what base hunter should be.
Why flip flop like so many others?
New things should be stronger.

Then give the old ways to get better.
And it was brought back as exotics, so not worth it.
Fatebringer was good, but not as exotic cause there are better exotics.

When did I talk shit about you? If you are as good as you’re saying then you should have no problem stomping teams right now. I would say the balance is in a pretty good spot at the moment. Even with all the “high ft dps” that everyone has been complaining about, I’ve been able to wipe most fireteams.

I’ve been reading through your arguments, and I agree. Predators are generally balanced and only Valkyrie was an outlier, so buffing all the other predators would have allowed their power to “creep” up. Since specializations are a general buff for all predators, Valkyrie deserved a nerf. Probably either less health or less perk points, but nerfing both was probably overkill in my opinion.
I would not nerf alpha, because scout got some nice specializations, like discipline.

I stopped playing as much in august cause of the auto claim.
That bug really Ruined this game for me and all the crashing.
Then 2.0 came out and shortly after the only one build I actually Enjoy got ruined.
It’s not even a fkn meta or super effective build.
It’s like a default build at most.
Now, I cant use range and melee mix, like I like to.
I’m going to be restricted back to range.
Which im not as effective with.
Like I’m not as effective when I’m limited to one thing.
I don’t enjoy having the full advantage against me.
It’s not fun when the enemy team is winning off of gimmicks and not skill.
I still play here and there.
But its just not as fun as it once was.
Others enjoy being weak.
I dont.
I want a balanced even playing feild.
Cause I dont like running over my opponent either.
But I dont even know why the fuck I’m telling you this.
No one ever gives a shit which another reason im pissed too.
