Its quite possible, killed preds in melee myself. Then I found good ones who drain my health then melee me from the back and kill me before I can even pull out the knife.
Why wont you fix the knife nonsense...

This game was ahead of its time and people knew it and loved it. Often times games that are ahead of their time are overlooked or panned… Trespasser for example.
Seriously, to this day thats one of the most complex modded maps ive seen.
Shame trespasser never got an official release either.
I believe the whole idea of parrying with the knife comes from Predator 2. In the movie Danny Glover gets a hold of the Predator’s smart disc and parrys the Predator’s claw attacks, then kills the predator with the smart disc.
I think the idea is a little cheesy too but unfortunately it’s in the canon that you can parry the predator. Even though it’s cheesy all you need to do is jump away and switch to a ranged weapon and you’re good. I always have the net gun so that eliminates the parry crap.
