There are actual studies that clearly show that blacks&latinos are stopped&frisked a LOT more (but not more likely to turn up crimes), and that the difference between races is irrelevant when the sun goes down. Or research that clearly suggests that black ppl are more likely to be given harsher sentences for the same crimes.
Jesus Christ some people man. I am completely staggered by how many individuals legitimately think that white people are oppressed. I mean I can see some being confused and genuinely questioning the excess that some protesters are indoubtedly perpetrating, which I don’t condone. Yeah? Well if we are going to play the disproportionate cards: black men (6% of US pop) commit over 50% of all violent crime in US. Statistically a police officer of any race is 18 times more likely to be killed by a black man than any other racial demographic.
Take that into account, when you talk about your “disproportionate numbers”.
Police brutality is not a result of systemic racism, it’s a result of bad training, bad psychological screening and systemic negligence/corruption.
Lastly you talk about blacks being discriminated against due to skin color, you clearly don’t know about the “inclusive” exclusionary programs that fall under affirmative action, that basically requires employers to weigh two equally qualified applicants and favor the minority.
Or how about how universities will accept minorities in with lower grades?
The political progressives ie liberal/left are the real racists, because they think minorities can’t take care of themselves. They then use these “goodwill” programs to garner minority votes for political power, and people are so stuck in their victimhood mentality that they believe it all.
I’m not saying there aren’t racists out there. There are and on both sides. I’m not saying there aren’t crooked/racist cops, there are and of all ethnicities.
And BLM is a shady organization that doesn’t put it’s money back into the communities but mostly into campaigns for democratic candidates. The NEED racism to be a major widespread issue to stay relevant. They also have leaders that openly claimed to be “trained marxists” and who are encouraging mass protests that more often than not turn violent, that have resulted in the deaths of whites AND blacks.
Now what does this all remind me of from history? Hmmmm
