That’s definitely the intention looking at the spawns tbh. That or they just didn’t consider the fireteam getting stalled in one area for five minutes.

Claiming a match is pigless is a tough claim. Since target scan has such a long cool down and pigs are tough to spot on a whim. And usually I can’t afford to look for them bc that’s a waste of time
I have noticed that if you pin the FT to an area there’s plenty of pigs there after a minute or 2.
I’d assume it’s deliberate mechanics (be nice if any of the mechanics were documented), considering it’s a full health reboost. You want the health you take the risk.

it’s also not generally that much of a risk, skirt the area agro an AI to go for alarm, kill and eat the pig.
Even an uber scout is going to struggle with 10 AI on them.
Considering how insanely loud it is and you can pinpoint the pred’s exact location right outside the fence it’s a terrible thing to go for at low hp, if the fireteam’s not playing like bots. Predator can’t cancel the eating animation and it uncloaks him like hes essentially long claiming the pig so better hope no one turns the corner.
Yup…right here, this is the most scared I get as Pred. Not the hunting, not the killin…its eating a pig right next to a building full of FT.

Granted, doesn’t happen often, but referring to your post that pigs are safer…they arn’t in my experience. Simply put…you can go to a high spot or go behind an object to use the med kit which does squeal when trying to use it.

Are we playing the same game and have you read my last two posts? You can choose you position with a med kit and be entirely safe…opposite of exposed.

Ive been paying since launch as Pred main and hit 100 within a week. I can tell you this a very poor strategy. I wouldn’t waste time going across the map unless I encountered the bug I created this post about. Also dead bors are very hard too spot compared to a live one. Boars are normally always be close by and are to be used first so you can return to the fight and keep the pressure on.

I heartily agree with that…but hoofing it across the map to get a hard to find dead boar when I could just kill one close by and return to the fight does not make for a good strategy.
As I said, its not often that FT find you when eating a boar close by.

Plus this is a rare occurrence.
No FT can hear it the pigs are loud. Pig kill noise is basically global lol. Pigslayers get melted if atleast two people turn the corner they just have to sit there taking headshots throughout the whole animation and can’t back out of it lol. Did this yesterday with just randos in pubs doing dailies.
you might want to practice more in private matches and test this.
