Exclusive means you get it when you pre-order. Releasing it as DLC would be a breach of contract and potentially a lawsuit. Most games release pre-order bonuses when they re-release the game as GOTY edition. This is because technically, the initial release and the GOTY edition are two different versions of the game. This takes a potential lawsuit out of the equation.

But you might expect within at least a year, a full “bundle” of DLC or a new version of the game (different SKU) that includes all DLC and PreOrder bonuses.
Think of it this way… in the old days of GameStop, preordering titles usually included bonus stuff like an action figure, toy gun, figurine, etc. That content was made exclusively for preorders and was not for sale by the manufacturer under any circumstance. It was also usually a limited run, meaning it was a specific number of items made and no further production could be made.
After a while, people could sell this stuff on places like eBay, but retailers and publishers could not sell it individually.
They’ll probably release a Ultimate Hunter edition of game, similar to To the ultimate slasher edtion but to my knowledge that didn’t include the pre order stuff is that correct?
You got Sahvani Jason if you backed Friday the 13th before it came out, it was available to buy on Kickstarter for awhile but it was removed because of lawsuit situation, Jungle Hunter being pre order exclusive is how it should stay, they gave people ample time to pre order so its not like it came out of the blue its an EXCLUSIVE it wasnt early acess to unlock it, it was an exclusive and illfonic would most likely get in trouble with Sony if they tried to release it, I would be more upset if it had better stats, its just a skin, yeah it looks cool but its not reason to get so irrate over it.
Also Im not replying on this post or any other JH threads cause im tired of Jungle Hunter posts, I wanted to put my thoughts on the situation and thats all, we could be focusing on alot more pressing issues on this game but instead people want to continue to talk about JH. This community is what is going to keep this game going lets not waste it on these kind of threads.
Y’all still on this? To be clear Illfonic simply can’t legally release JH 87 as a Public skin. They already advertised it as a preorder exclusive. To release it to the public would be false advertisement, breach of purchase agreement, and breach of preorder agreement. Not to mention libel. All of which are a lawsuit and I for one will happily own their company if they try.

Oh for the love of fu… where have you been when the preorder was going on?! I honestly can’t believe that there are predator fans out there that did not know about this game comming out… I knew about it when it was still in development man! There is no excuse - you did not preorder you do not get it. Period
