Dutch was never free. It’s the tapes that are free.
Look at the picture.
Free Update is the tapes on top, while Dutch at the bottom is a Paid DLC

It’s only 7 buck + tax on the PS4 store, if it had been 15-20 bucks I could see some anger. Most of us waste 7 bucks on dumber shit than that multiple times a day. Instead of being mad, think of it as tip for hitting a home run on this patch.

LOL getting upset for not reading the actually details about the DLC
I was willing to pay $5 for this 1st DLC but i think that’s my limit until we have more than just 3 jungle maps. $2 isn’t much more but I’m holding firmly on this. I haven’t even played for like a week because every match feels the same. The only difference is the names of the players. Dutch DLC isn’t enough to make me want to open up my wallet since i already spent $40 on half a game.
You’re paying to have early access to the Dutch Class, his Assault rifle and knife. The rifle and knife can be equipped by all the other classes. You can either pay now and get it, or wait until June when everyone gets it for free anyway.

True. They haven’t added any new missions or maps. You’re paying just to have a Dutch class (which is cool and all, but 4 in a team is immersion breaking), a new gun and knife earlier than everyone else. Wait until June, it’s free then.

I get it, in the end, you’re correct, its pennies. And I want to support these guys. No time for me to pay attention I suppose to the graphic of the tapes being ‘free’ and Dutch costing.

I mean, it’s not a required DLC, but it is highly entertaining. And I mean come on it’s Dutch!. But after seeing the patch notes and hitting 0 bugs in 12 games so far it was worth it to tip them for their hard work. No different than throwing a 20 or more at a waiter/waitress who treated you well while having a nice meal.

Not angry, I am so busy during the COVID BS I just didnt pay attention to the fine print, if you will. But you’re right, we all spend $7 like its nothing. Im not complaining about the price, its just the art work could have layed it out better. I read all the text and it said nothing about paying for Dutch…all I read was ‘first DLC is free’
