2.0 - Pred nerfed to the ground

LOL I played a game vs a decent half PC - half PS4 team… OMFG it is hard to win as Pred right now after patch 2.0

Everything favors FT…e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.
The most obvious thing is how much damage can hit the Pred as soon as he reveals himself and starts a fight (ranged into melee).
Bear trap spam (large pouch) only viable strategy right now, and it’s very situational.
Pure melee is impossibile (but the devs admitted their will to obliterate pure melee from game, completely questionable choice).

well i dont know i think the changes are more about countering the unconunterable witch honestly is fine

I wouldn’t say nerfed, but leveled down slightly. I just came out of a Match where all 4 Members were huddled in to a Room on Overgrowth. I was constantly picking and then dipping out with the Match ending in a stalemate.

Melee spamming gets you nowhere; now your approach has to be more Strategically fit.

I agree to some extent. I had a great match earlier but then came up against another solid team and I couldn’t even get near them thanks to the UAV spotting and my cloak being disabled. I am skeptical about how well I or any really good Pred would do against a PC death squad using the new stuff.

I am sure there are stats Illfonic looks at and I bet the win rate of Predator was insane and that is why they buffed the Fire Team.

“Countering the uncounterable” - LMFAO

The game LITERALLY adds a button for the FT to press to instantly spot the Predator.

Meanwhile, the patch nerfed bowshot head damage - which is LITERALLY countered by not standing outside or by simply just running away as FT.

He seems so nerfed I played as ft and we obliterated the pred. I’m a little scared to play pred now honestly just cause of how weak he is now.

“Last man standing” uber power up makes almost impossible to even have the slightest chance to win against 4 man PC premades or even 3 PC ft premade + 1 ps4 random. It completely screws up the game in combination with reinforcement giving back all the gear to FTs.

Last night , vs 4 PC ft premade, I managed to down three of them in different times, fourth player immediately ran for reinforcement.

I chased him but he managed to activate the reinforcement call. Then he just ran in circles, I was hitting him multiple times, like 10-12 times with wristblades, and he was still alive. Now and then he parryed me and make a knife slash, OMFG with yautja bane the damage that he did. He made it out alive, the rest of the team reinforced and I was screwed. He was a bit lucky avoiding and destroyng 3 traps I launched at him in the heat of the battle.

In these conditions , game’s no fun anymore. It’s so unbalanced that’s almost a joke.

is it really that big? i mean - i abandon this game cuz playing as pred was way too easy 29 of 30 games is just roflstomping and i have to go easy on them to not end match by 3 minutes after 10 minutes queue, as FT(solo) its like - "hope he is bad’, if not - “oh well, he is know how to throw combistick and not meleerush like dumbdumb”

FT get’s get’s every update nerfs and predator get’s buffs. Predator get’s nerfs one time and “predator is nerfed to the ground!”. I hope you get a few more nerf patches just so you know how FT feels :)

Last man standing boost is great! It’s the only thing keeping the match going after everyone else has been slaughtered. @OldKingHamlet

It’s clear that this opinion comes form a random player. From the predator point of view, who plays vs lvl 150 premade PC teams, that struggles every second of the game to do some damage, that incredibly manages to down three FTs, is totally absurd and insane to be beaten by a last standing superpowered guy who runs in circles.

Dude I’ve been playing since the trail and I can tell you this is long overdue. Once the last man is standing the game is practically over but now we have a fighting chance against a predator.
Also I’m on PS4 and never ever use crossplay as having a M&K and being able to lower your graphics in attempts of bring up your frame rate are both way too much of and advantage.

It could be a nice idea IF the game wasn’t already totally unbalanced in favor of the FT.

It’s just the nail in the coffin.

It’s never been in favor of FT until the last update. All of those new things were long overdue. Cmon bro get real lol. Every update paid or not has been for predator. The one time FT gets some good stuff and everyone loses their minds lol.

Pure Melee isn’t a viable option for preds in lore or in game. Deal with it.

Zerker with a pistol is deceptive and dangerous. FT who camp on a hill might have a harder time if you picked down range as a perk, and a pistol as a secondary. I tried two melee weapons in a run and it just isn’t useful. Pick one, wrist blades are back up, and pick a ranged weapon you like and practice with it
