2 big reasons this game is facing more competition

Dead by Daylight is releasing The Hellraiser chapter. So we’re getting pinhead. So that’s like the final huge Franchise besides Friday. Dbd is now essentially the supreme asymmetrical game.

BUT I know dbd is not for everyone. But let’s be honest. Alien and predator are so synonymous with one another at this point that you literally can’t talk about one without someone bringing up the other. So it can be assumed a mass of the fan base of this game, will be playing the new alien game.

Which leads me to believe, this games borrowed time may finally be coming to an end

alien and predator are not synonymous, there are more fans of aliens, and many. the game if it has competition, since the premiere and has hardly improved.

Disagree

Disagree what you want, the game has fallen short for what it could have been and there are more fans of aliens and that is a reality

I did try DBD but I did not like it. This game has guns and I can “if it bleeds we can kill it”.

Then again some other games that I want are coming out so I am going to have far less time to play this. Almost 2 days left for Aliens FT.

Really hoping Aliens:FT is good. AVP2010 had that a.i bug hunt was decent but more of a world at war type of setup that I remember only going up like a few rounds before being overrun… I waited 11 years for this better be good. Colonial Marines was returned same day to that blockbuster…

Believe it or not I actually liked Colonial Marines, it cost about 6 euros but I did enjoy playing it.

Alot of people do on here. Couldn’t do it I think the graphics on ps3 were just awful… so many things. I remember being pissed off seeing how this got released.

I’m saying I disagree that the franchises are not synonymous

Idk about the aliens game and I’m a massive aliens fan

Like why in the fuck did they not show the game running on ps4?

Are they embarrassed??

The whole being a WWZ clone doesn’t bother me so much as I like that game

The new COD might take over though

(The free alpha is this weekend for PlayStation)

This game does not have to worry about competition when it comes to bugs 😁. I think it’s safe to assume it’ll outperform the completion in that respect.

Yeah why didnt’ they? They arethe ones getting dvds shipped! and 4 days early to play! Why the fuck didnt they?

Same

In the movie those chains rip Frank to tiny bits

I also wish he had the weapon he had in the movie too

Still buying it in Dec though

there werent any other asyims and still aren’t, the biggest budget thing to ever grace the genre (and kickstart it) was Evolve and you know how that went. No other triple A studio dares to dip its feet into most volatile sweaty pvponly genre of multiplayer game, where one balance patch can nuke the playerbase so DBD reigns supreme with all its endless grinding.

DBD has its treadmill established, PHGs treadmill is…mythical trophies I guess?

The playerbase isn’t the same. PHG requires a bit more effort to turn it into a 4v1 bully simulator. DBD uses three buttons. jungle gyming instead of aiming.

lol there wasnt even any e3 footage hell no its a silent drop they can’t afford advertising either.
You will get no beta or demo and you will be happy!

We’re doomed with low faith projects.

DBD has always been and will always be for the foreseeable future, the supreme assymetrical game due to its diversity, licensing of pretty much every popular horror franchise, etc. Not to mention its backing by the funds they’ve accrued, developer transparency, consistent QoL updates, patches, hotfixes, maintenance, etc. That’s not to say that we can’t enjoy other assymetrical games as well. It’s just, everything else has been limited to one franchise. So if you’re not a fan of the franchise, chances are you’re probably not gonna pick it up. (F13, Predator, upcoming Evil Dead, etc.)

My biggest gripe about DBD is the hide-and-seek model. Sure it works (obviously) and it’s fun, but I like the ability to be able to fight back. That’s the satisfaction that P:HG offers that DBD doesn’t. Sometimes I think it would be cool to actually face off against the killer instead of just running for your life to escape through a door or hatch. But it’s a horror game. I get it.

See. This guy gets it

Yeah same. But I do appreciate the face actually being stretched. Did not expect that
