January is when the switch happens. I wouldn’t worry to much about your guns. Might add some common sense laws but it won’t be anything crazy.

I think after some of the mass shootings the news said that the public was in favor of more thorough background checks. Congress: nah, were not gonna do that 😁
They’ll just add some new gun tax so gov has more revenue.

As long as he doesn’t get us into any more bs wars, tank the economy or make us vulnerable, things will be fine

They might get taxed, hadn’t considered that, Anytime. I doubt a federal gun registry would ever happen, background checks are likely to stay a state issue.
I do think the economy will take a hit between now and Christmas Blood. I will likely turn around though, the pandemic is going to make it take some time. I would expect to see a lot of stuff about mask wearing and distancing in the new year.
It could still swing back toward the Republicans and Trump. It doesn’t look good for him, even if he sues though. If he did win without taking the house, he’d have a very long winter.
Regardless of who wins, Congress needs to get off their collective asses and get another cares act together. Lots of people are going to lose their homes this winter too.
American politics is so interesting because it’s so messed up. Not that our system doesn’t have its flaws, it does. But yours is like a sports game everyone is outside the arena for it. It’s like a closed room boxing match. With people sticking their heads out and giving up dates.

Yup, they do need to pass another stimulus. Hopefully election results get sorted out quickly so things get moving, otherwise everything is going to drag because of typical partisan sheet

Couldn’t agree more, I was actually shocked they fucked around till the election. Both sides could have benefited from giving extensions and getting anything out.
The Republican Party did alright considering the polls. I’m impressed with the flips on the other side, some are unexpected.
I got to say, it’s been a pleasure watching the election with all of you. I’m sure we all have very different views but this has actually been very informative. Even fun, just wanted to say that now, in case in a week we’re all screaming degenerate at one another because of the court rulings. Not that I think we will, I’m mostly joking and only a little worried it’s true. 🤔

Yup, i had fun chatting here too. Just followed the voting online and stayed away from the media. It was a blast. I was very tuned in as it was pretty hard to concentrate at work today. Tomorrow should be better tho

Nevada needs to go red or Trump loses. They plan on making the next vote update at 9:00 am tomorrow for Nevada. Nevada and Georgia are very close races.

I’ve done some research and it looks like Trump is actually probably gonna take Arizona. Same with Georgia and North Carolina. Might come down to PA

Arizona was already won by Biden. The only hold out are NV,GA,NC,PA
There is some news that they will finish counting ballots and/or that there were mistakes
What Arizona? It wont sway the Electoral college vote. There vote will stand.
