There a youtube vid of previous elections. Early on there were more parties and multiple candidates from each party ran. I donāt know what changed at some point, but now it seems pretty unlikely that weāll ever have a third (or more) party that can challenge the current model. This is one thing that both parties will put down

I think i havenāt heard anything about a possibility of foreign govs trying to influence the election (fb, twitter). Did that really go away in its own?
No idea. But my stance is 70 million people didnt get off their ass to vote for Romney against Obama if this nation is as volatile as people would like us to believe.

You still have to consider population increase. Also, I have a short memory about politics, but I donāt recall such tensions during Romney/Obama election as now. County has gone to sheet with Covid, economy, protests. Secondly, people didnāt think Trump could win the first time so maybe that would explain higher turnout as they wanted to make sure it didnāt happen again.
But this didnt apply to obama when romney underperformed? I would assume race would be a more high tension issue period, no? Thats the whole point of a lot of the BLM protesting.
Thatās for investigative journalists to pursue. I donāt think I can successfully do that with all the sheet online.

If anything tensions were higher with Hillary than this election with all the scandals and such, this is just a 2nd term which would be more of basically nothing now that everyone realized the world wasnt ending. The only votes seem to be āagainst trumpā not āfor joeā - but enough to make another typical establishment dinosaur the president with the highest turnout ever? People atleast voted for Hillary and could name a few policies or she had backing for being a woman. Yet couldnt get this much turnout for first black or female president?
To be honest thereās always been foul play because our elections have no national standard.

He figured (mostly right) that could be one politician promise mostly forgotten. Also again, it just looks baaaaaaaad. Look at progressives now on Twitter calling for ālistsā. Persecuting political rivals is a bad message for those not in 100% lock step with you.
