2020 Presidential Election

That’s excellent news, 7 different vaccines being tested by Health Canada, so we get whatever works best distributed.

“I think the question we all have is: is it going to be safe? Is it going to be effective? That’s what our scientists are looking at very, very carefully right now… There are jurisdictions and countries around the world that have banked everything on one or maybe two different vaccines… Whatever vaccines end up being the right ones to get through this pandemic, Canadians have a very good chance of having access to millions of doses of those,” Trudeau said.

Considering a week ago we weren’t sure if we’d get even a single vaccine next year I can’t say I’m disappointed.

If you are concerned about the militaries involvement, you shouldn’t be, our soldiers do these things, it isn’t weird to use the resources we have for establishing a temporary supply chain.

Congratz youll have the most mRNA vaccines per capita because you made 7 different deals with pharmaceutical companies, china’s included as you don’t have your own domestically. You’re getting all of them as per the deal and more since for whatever reason you’ll need enough to vaccinate the country several times over. That and its likely it’ll require mutiple doses.

But you wouldn’t want to be a paranoid anti-vaxxer ofc why the apprehension at all xd

Did you read the articles, cause it doesn’t seem like you did. We’ll use whichever vaccine is safest, Health Canada is going to do its own testing to determine which is the best option.

You’re criticism seems to be driven by fear. You’re literally criticizing us based on our being over prepared, when we’ll likely distribute excess vaccine in places that require it.

None of them, that’s the joke. Just like retrovirii.

You don’t bat an eye at an entirely new vaccine for flu 2.0. It’s experiemental mass data collection on novel vaccines in development for less than a year with many companies having banked their entire success on rna-based vaccines. Golden opportunity for pharma but yes lalalala im fear mongering.

You are, good you can recognize it.

If these accusations are proven true and Trump wins and there is more riots etc it’s safe to assume that a coup is taking place

The only coup attempt I see is Trumps though… guy literally asked a court to disenfranchise 7 million people, has publicly asked SCOTUS to intervene on his behalf after stacking the court, he’s suggested changing the laws in multiple states to allow them to ignore the will of the people, to select electors that will re-elect him. He called Republican’s to the White House to intimidate them into not certifying the election and telegraphed what he was going to do, even before the election.

At some point you gotta apply the same scale to Trump as the dems man. What he’s doing, very much looks like, what he’s accusing others of.

You can’t have a coup if your legally in power

Nothing he is doing is illegal

Democrats have been caught breaking the law on video

Others have already been charged with fraud

I have a feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg

He is the President till January but changing the outcome of the vote to stay in power would be. Even if he did change the law in the states he’d require and the electoral college voted him in, it would still be contrary to democratic values. The transition of power is already underway.

I don’t think I agree with that but as he is still the President till January 20th, he’s got plenty of time to figure out how to give his kids pardons for crimes they haven’t been charged with yet. 😂, himself too.

I watched the video, it remains to be determined. That is also a very broad statement, I have not seen evidence of voter fraud sufficient to overturn the results.

No one says the election was 100% free of fraud, but it also isn’t likely to raise to the level required. Pointing at a sliver and calling it a stab wound is beneath you.

I have a feeling you’re 🎣. No more worms for you.

I wonder if there will be transition of power until these cases are closed if they are deemed significant. There might be and interim state where Trump’s main powers are suspended and Biden is still not able to be inaugurated. But, there probably will be a deadline for when new lawsuits can still be filed, so trump won’t be able to continue this till 2024

I don’t see a path forward for Trump, we’re talking a huge lead. Biden sits at 306 and the college meets in less than 2 weeks. From the outside looking in, Trump seems to be making a self fulfilling prophecy out of the senate runoff’s. People aren’t going to vote because they believe there’s fraud and their votes don’t matter or they were encouraged not to at a rally for Trump’s legal challenges.

It’s looking not only like the challenges won’t change anything positively but that they’re going to have negative effects long term.

I think these alleged crimes/racism of Trump is completely unsubstantiated

I have (more importantly the courts) yet to see anything that proves any of the claims

The fact that the democrats accused collusion with Russia which was proven wrong in court and it was in fact Clinton who was working with the Russians makes them lose nearly all credibility

That’s how the system is set up and he’s allowed for his chance to question the voting process. People should be able to think for themselves. Internet is filled with lies and Trump’s doing should not be an excuse for people ignorance/foolishness.

Except you never read the Muller report or you’d know it explicitly says it doesn’t clear him of wrong doing. Trump wasn’t prosecuted because he is the President, Muller made a call consistent with president.

Hmmm…

It makes me fucking sick that politics works this way

Like what the fuck is really going on??

It really is clown world

It’s not so bad. This is first world problems. On the other hand hunger, poverty, war, human rights violations, disease, ecological problems; those have been around forever and no end in sight

If Trumps party hadn’t behaved in blatantly partisan ways, Trump wouldn’t even be in office right now. I don’t disagree, the way some of you’re politics played out over the last two years, hasn’t set the best example. The Democrats did pursue needless things both before and after the impeachment but that doesn’t excuse your Republican representatives actions during those hearings.
Same goes for the newest SCOTUS, she shouldn’t have been confirmed based on Republican policy during the Obama administration, it’s just blatant partisanship.

In Canada we have a similarly annoying thing where parties form blocks to prevent good legislation from being passed. Politics are necessary but man that doesn’t make them easier to deal with.

PS. I only read an abridged version of Muller’s report, it was to bloody long. So don’t feel bad.

You make a valid point about the increased voter turnout and the polarizing nature of recent elections. Higher levels of political polarization and engagement often lead to greater voter participation. Observing an increase in campaign signs for a particular candidate, like Trump in your case, can be an informal indicator of the political atmosphere in your area. It’s essential for the democratic process that people actively participate in elections, whether they are supporting one candidate or the other. This increased political engagement can have a significant impact on the outcomes of elections. If you have any more questions or would like to discuss this further, feel free to ask!

Nice try editing my words, marketing robot. I ain’t promoting jack shit.
Also this is a dead thread and has been for 3 years. If you wanna even get close to scamming us, using a more recent thread is the way to go.
