2025 Hypothesis

Seeming as we may be getting a new predator film in the near future there often is speculation that these films dont get made (kind of like Alien5). However in the PHG timeline we are speculating 2025 to be a particular year of interest. Why? Well its only 4 years away. And a speculated 2025 release of a new title could be well underway or even released prior to 2025 but in the narrative, Dutch exists in 2025.
The film The Predator was to be a very current year as if it were set in same year of release of 2018.

Anyone else think that there is a possibly that Arnold may return in a dominant role in the new film to be released around 2025?
Let’s also speculate that any DLC in this game might point to a possible existing role in the 2025 movie. Could Isabelle make an appearance as well? Could Dante?

Hey, you never know in games he could be very well 20 years younger, then 20 years older!
And that is an interesting idea. Think of all the possible roles or narratvies Arnold could have played in his early years. Then allowing him to play those roles in a video game. Fuckin possible i think.

Honestly I would be up for it, maybe even a story where Dutch if finally found by his older brother. Just saying that could be a very compelling story line as the two are still being hunted by Predators.

Well its a prequel, and unless 2025 dutch has a de’lorean that time travels? And a 77 year old Dutch? We have to accept a true 87 predator sequel is dead . All because he wanted to make a shitty little known movie about a time traveling cyborg aswell 🙄

The new film will be a pre-colonial America meaning 2025 might not have anything to do with it beyond maybe an intro or outro depicting events in 2025.

If the game has DLC by then (it’s filming now but likely releasing next year) the DLC will obviously be that film’s Predator.

Let’s say that they make a near-future predator movie including Dutch 2025, but recast Dutch. I know most of you will be appalled at the thought, but I don’t think Arnie would be up for it or physically able, to be honest.

Who today could do Dutch justice?

Infact I’m sure I remember years ago the rock was mentioned for predator 3 , and in sure its rumoured right now he will be involved in one? Or maybe I imagined it
