The problem is not the lack of players, but the mechanics of the lobby. in DBD the same problem. PE resistance is the same problem. Evolv- was the same problem

I’ve done a private match. Only about 10 AI on the map. Need a fireteam to spawn more.

Just re-join the queue if you can’t join the game in 10 mins.
Don’t even wait that long, if you don’t get a lobby on 3 or 4 minutes, cancel and retry. If you have to do thatore than twice, close and restart the game.

Average queue time for FT is less then 1 min and 10+ min for Predator.

It’s been 40mins+ for me for a Predator game since a couple days ago for me. I gave up.
I’ve been “No Preferencing” aka Fireteaming.
They will fix the matchmaking. I believe. I have to.

i did this 4 times and still no matchs.
poor fools living in the woods. I struggle to take a piss fast enough to catch my games.

Higher lvl longer matchmaking times ! My times are now above 10 min , ( lvl 62) when I was lvl 20 they were around 4/5/6 min ( guess game tries to match you with teams of same lvl)

The last few days were alright, 5-6 minute wait to join a FT match.
I’ve been able to get into ONE game today.
Just ONE.
And after nearly a week of playing the game I have yet to play as predator even ONCE!
I REALLY want this game to be good. But now I’m just pissed.

If it gets stuck when it says connecting cancel and try again.
Sometimes 5 min if lucky, but most of the time around 12, 30, even almost 50. And counted together it’s never under 5 min considering u need to search 5 min again which makes it 10 min sadly :( IF u find a match… currently rn searching and its 10 minutes already, i just wanna play!! Empty rooms inddeed, no 1 joining, waiting 4 players eternally and stuff… yeah ur still awesome dev team dont get me wrong i just wanna play and the mm issues fixed thats all :) ur awesome illfonic 4 creating this awesome game :) just slow on matchmaking thats all
Game is far from dead.
I played 9 games this AM and each queue time with no preference on PC was 30-40 seconds. I think there was one time it was 50 seconds. No preference is the way to go, if you’re trying to play Predator, then that’s the problem. Everyone wants to play Predator so the queue is clogged. It’s a common woe in asymmetrical multiplayer games as everyone generally wants to play as the villain/killer.

I don’t know why no one thinks of this. But back out after a while. Sometimes you get in dead lobbies. I’ve never, ever waited more than 7 mins. Ever. Quit putting all your faith in computers. They are dumb.
