They weren’t speculating whether there would be one but what it would be, it was on the roadmap.

The free trail is about getting que times down, and trying to boost sales.

Yeah its weird that they would remake his gun again. When I read what the gun was its just a earlier version of the hammerhead.

I had the same thought. If they had released them in the opposite order, then Dutch 2025 could have come with his wrist plasma cannon instead.

Or the owlf rifle with under barrel plasma caster. Idk the devs just seem to pull their ideas from here. Its pretty sad in my opinion and lazy. We will now have 2 of the same weapon. Even worse if 87 dutch Is a variant and the “mercenary” rifle will be a variant for the hammerhead and if that the case they are super lazy and this Ip needs to be sued away from them so they can have another failure on their short but shotty career

The only guess I have is that the pandemic did a number on them as far as productivity, so they cancelled a paid DLC for August, moved it to September and changed the gameplan. As it looks like we’re getting September’s paid DLC before a free one, if they’re following the same model still.
Leads me to wonder when we will get the map and mode…1 week? 2weeks in?

Ok that is weird. I thought Dutch was septembers DLC, unless he is Augusts DLC which is a bit random. They said when they announced the 2.0 patch “Next week we will be revealing what you can expect from this month’s Paid DLC. It is a good one! Until then, see you in the hunt!” That’s taken from the end of the blog, so I’m guessing they actually ment that Dutch 87 is Augusts DLC.
