I wouldn’t argue against that - JH is the ‘OG’ - he was the first, and to me, he’ll always be the best. That said I’m looking forward to when Wolf gets introduced as he has a great aesthetic - his biomask in particular is one of the best of all the movie Preds.
The only Preds I’ve used consistently in this game have been JH, then once I hit 150 I switched to the Elder. I’ll most likely try out City Hunter when he comes out, but I can’t see him replacing the Elder as my go-to Pred.
As for the ridiculous ‘Power-Ranger-Villan’ looking Samurai and Alpha Preds, well I won’t ever be using those. I like my Preds to look like Preds, not tacky toy action figures.

Just notice if you look at the Predators waste lines the Jungle hunter is a bit thicker…

Yea when they inroduced Samurai Predator i was like wtf. However i could see the comparison cuz the Samurai followed a honor code tradition called Bushido, and the Yautja follow a similar culture when hunting.
But none the less illfonic is flirting with a thin opportunistic line.
What will stop them from making a Spartan, Pirate, Gladiator, Medieval Knight Predator next like come on
The JH skin is fairly movie accurate. The standard game characters use a more ‘comic-book-proportion’ model for the bodies. Elder is based more on the generic Hunter class rather than the actual Elder from Predator 2. Also check out the armour/shoulder pack/Plasma Cannon/wrist blade differences.

I’ll never understand why they didn’t use the JH skin as the starting point for creating the Elder (like the actual movies did), and instead decided to base him on the game’s generic Hunter class model.

Developer’s were lazy i guess they had the base already there with the Hunter class so they tweaked it to make Elder.
They didn’t want to start from scratch
well too me at least if every single Predator was Flashy and Showy then that would mean the Really good ones would be less good becuase there all good… im fine with a Few Shit ones if theres ALOT of Great ones.

It seems that sony wanted to secretly promote ghost of tsushima with it, maybe they had a hand in it. So there might be a possibility for a viking predator when the new assasins creed releases? But i hope they’re done now with such highly inspired predator looks. I want more yautja styles.
