In the hands of a seasoned studio, I could see a well functioning aliens vs predator game. Colonial marines v preds v xenos. But if this game dies it won’t do much to show players have an interest in a game. Personally I loved the 2010 avp. Up until a couple of years back I still played it on pc as there is still a multiplayer community. Some pretty sweet mods aswell for the audio files so it was movie accurate

Well considering there are so many of the same posts “buff this, nerf that I’m not getting what I want wah wah wah” it’s not really surprising.

GTA and Red Dead Online both dropped large DLCs, Ghost Of Tsushima dropped amongst other games. Most of the original squad I played with have moved on, they’re tired of the bugs, lack of maps and missions, repetitive gameplay and paid DLC being a priority over fresh content.

i will never buy an illfonic title ever again that is the truth. Dead by dead by daylight was a huge letdown.

Not attacking you I’m just confused, Dbd is by Behaviour Studios, not illfonic. Illfonic was the devs on Friday, until Black tower took over.
doesn’t matter… the asymmetrical games just dont work time to drop it.
I understand the feeling, take break, beat whatever campaign type game you’re into. These games take a while to add content, but there worth coming back too in my opinion.

nah, i felt this way after the 1.06 patches… its like they went backwards
A lot of that has to do with adding code to what came before, they’ve added things for the up coming patch but currently that code just sits bloated in there and acting in a destabilizing manner. At least that’s my understanding of it.
As they do completely the next couple of patches, it should get better. The stuff that it has to spend time ignoring is suddenly available and all the paths click.
Sometime you just over play a map or set of objectives too much and just need something different.

Yeah a lot less topics I think the big issue for me was is first they had tree jumping instead of eating/claiming now it’s long claiming when you don’t want it to. Add on to that the dlc predator drops back to back making wait times extra long so when you finally get to play as the Predator you have all these damn bugs

bigest problem is predcour doesnt work the way you want it to… there is not enough levels in the trees to use effectively. The disc doesnt work like the movies, the combistick nerfs were not needed cause FTs were destroying these guys before nerfs. So now you have meta weapons plasma pistol and elder or combi throw… while the other part of pred arsenal sucks.
And why should ppl stay on a forum about game without any updates, repetative gameplay and just watching in indifference and incompetence of devs? There are a lot better games with better devs with more updates. Even I, who hated illfonic for their shit attitude to this game came back to play a few maps, and that really was great emotions in the first map but…other 8-10 was literally bad! I played like 5 games with 3 people and only one fire team gave me a cigarette(if you know what i mean). Rest people was just pieces of meat and most of them were just leaving game after first death…
I didn’t play this game for like month and a half, and there is still no some kind of punishment system for leaving game before it’s end. What should players feel when their enemies are just leaving? It’s boring. And I am to lazy to search for a premade FT who wants to play against. Game is dying, game is too boring right now, and there is no big hope that there will be some really great update. I played since beta, and didn’t see any gameplay update since that thime, and that’s sad
You’re expectations are unreasonable, we get updates at the same rate as Dbd or other games in the genre.

Dbd releases larger content on a 3 month schedule, Pred is on a 4 month schedule near as I can tell but it’s also harder to balance a game where both sides can fight.
