I’m 100% with @JelouGaming and his line of thinking. Coordinating focus fire from 12 random FT would make herding cats look easy. Especially at one of 3 fast moving hard to see targets. If your successful yeah pred melts before you can blink…but that is NOT easy.
Coordinating 3 preds to create an interlaced field of fire with plasma casters? That’s second nature…

I mean it would exactly bring this issue as well, multiple bow hoppers and stuff.

I’ve made a few suggestions on ways I think can mitigate some issues I see happening but every solution I come up with presents its own problems and there’s so many others.
I fix trucks not games though so Illfonic is better suited for sorting it out though

Yeah i’m not denying it being fun or impossible to do, just very rough in the current game state.
I don’t even want to think about how rough it would be optimisation wise…

Bow hopping is lame but not broken.
You really gotta stop with hating on those who call shit out that’s lame or when someone plays like a bitch.

As long as you keep it in game and dont start trying to insult the person.
But talking shit about someones play style is fine.
Bow hoping is straight up unfun to go against, it’s not how the game is meant to be played and just makes any match with it feel sweaty, worse is that they will probably end up nerfing leaps to stop this, resulting in unwanted side effects on non-sweaty tryhards
Ok theres something that everyone needs to understand tho.
The leap preds arent the ones who are a problem or lame, most of the time.
Its the ones who only do the regular jump over and over with the bow or combi throw that are lame.
I personally hate fighting them cause most give off a feeling of fear.
However leaping is not the issue.
The predator needs this movement Or they’re going to stand no chance.
And unfortunately,
Even sometimes leap womt really help cause theres ppl who can track them and hit them Mid leap.
However, you cant say that this is not the way the game is supposed to be played.
You dont know that.
And just cause you feel that way doesnt mean it’s true.

yeah both jumps and leaps are used during the hopping, and knowing the devs they’ll nerf only one of the two (the wrong one)
Thanks a ton for sharing! I actually didn’t know about this build. Probably won’t make it my main, (mostly cause the idea of melting the pred sounds just as unfun as bow hoppers) But I definitely might try it out at least once or twice.
Far as balance, I think both sides need both nerfs and buffs. Clearly, the bow hopping needs a fix, but at the same time, the preds can use more ranged weapons. On the flip side, the FT definitely has way too many avenues to be op, but at the same time, I’ve played games where the pred steamrolls the whole team before we even finish the first objective. As catchy as NerfFT/BuffPred or vise versa is, there really isn’t an easy answer. At this point, I’d support any attempts by Illfonics to polish up the balance. At least it’s an attempt.

I mean pick your poison… But imo scout is the worst class imo awful perk points, awful gear points… Bad stat distribution

There was good reason he didn’t share the build with the community when he first discovered it. Do you realize what you’ve just done? Do you know how long it takes for Illfonic to nerf something? We’re tired of destroying predators, we’re bored. And this build is only going to make this game fall deeper down the hole. You might want to get used to losing consistently to this build, especially PC players

You know I don’t use cheap tactics I use ft as bait to down other ft and I just take their supplies by shooting them then going in for the kill with combi now how am so supposed to play with my hunt if everybody is chasing me this is my jungle and why are some people on top of buildings and sniping me that’s my thing I be the predator they will not hunt me I will hunt them for animes sake just let heal when I am in second wind and stop chasing me you know I am sorry now that I think about it maybe this makes my hunt more fun I forgot what a predator is someone who looks for a challenge thank you for taking the time to teach potatoes
