A hotfix for predator

Reduce audible cue ranges by 80-90%, not saying this will fix everything, but it definitely will give ranged preds a bit of a chance till everything gets addressed by not being able to be seen AND heard upon entering an area, allowing at least some stalking and ambushing *possibly * without the FT knowing you’re around

edit this is my single biggest quality if life improvement the predator needs, the fire team doesnt need an audible cue unless they are close to melee range 3-5 meters tops(would put predators on low branches in audio range)

Sound is one isseu, cloak is another. It needs to be staging from very visable to 100% invisible while your movment speed changes. PC users are not even aware that predator can walk and even slow walk in this game, this shuld be connect to the cloaking mechanics. Also, moving or not, while cloaked you shuld be almost invisible from a distance.

That’s why I’m only calling for an audio hotfix, cloak is another monster to deal with, let’s focus on a hotfix resolution for the time being, 80-90%across the board range reduction for all predator audio cue ranges, footsteps, clicking, the ONLY thing that’s close to fine is the sounds of the trees moving, which still needs like a 20%reduction in audio range

If people would stop bitching about the results of the issues and focus on the reason we have those issues then the dev team gets a clearer view of the changes they need go make

It would definitely make it so I dont hear him coming from a mile away and start scanning the trees with my sniper in that general direction where I see that garbage cloak and I start blastin.

I play FT recon sniper with the 7EN and increase spot perks and recoil reduction, this is exactly what I do

Yep. Mud up and suddenly the predator is kept at bay all match. It was real cool the first time I knocked off a mask, but now its so easy and boring.

I feel like a hillbilly chewin dip and shootin squirrels out of trees, its losing its charm Real Quick.
