A.I. changes

So, this question mainly goes out to the FT mains, but also can for Predator mains. But, Why is it everyone complained about how easy the A.I. were and they should buff the A.I. Then, pretty sure they shadow buffed them and now everyone is complaining A.I. is too op and complaining too many swarm them.

Make up ya damn minds want easy brain dead A.I. or do you want A.I. that offer a challenge?

We complained about it yes then eventually they buffed them for there dmg output to increase the problem is we didn’t necessarily ask for ai to do more dmg or have more hp we wanted them to behave more tactically to path properly to not literally use aimbots to aim like they are halo legendary ai or spawn out of thin air even directly behind a player

To be difficult in a way that isn’t just numerical as previously the ai stats were fine they were just too stupid

Well, they don’t have an A.I. programmer currently as far as I know, so this was the best they could do until they hire one

Right and I understand that and hopefully in the future if they continue to do well financially hiring one will be a priority

AI arent very compelling to begin with. So to say everyone wanted a buff for AI probably meant, they wanted some thing more compelling. Now that they are OP, we are complaining. They are now stupid hard and not very interesting to beat.

that said, AI could go further by having different reactions with avoidance like tumbling. Or that hit areas giving different results like a knee cap burst could result in a spray of bullets in all areas rather than them continually firing in one target…etc.

and change in AI will automatically result in a rebalancing of AMMO on our person and out in the field. That said i dont think people have the capactiy there to further refine this trait. ON paper I think they could do it, but nobody has the balls as a GAME DEVELOPER… Nobody hires these people. They just dont exist on our evolutionary plate of employable people. We just need people who know how to…mop floors. Beacuse every floor and outdoor patio needs a moppin. So get moppin! But these people who cant do anything can change a parameter now and again to 200%.fuck me is that hard? no? So we will blame those programmers who thought that was completely smart for doing so and they just bought the company 5 months of development. They rolled the dice.

What i mean is that they add no existential value to AI, they are just changing an already existing value. So yes they are cutting corners and costs, but not even the costumer can say anything about it. Because prior to the change they were dolls with a damage per second value which is what we initially paid for. Somebody gave the idea to change it into a percentage or a spawn count. Possibly that someone was us. We spoke out. And they responded with an executive decision. This is evidence that they respond to our anger. There is no contract that they should refine or make a project based on it.
They started off with a product. People complained. They made a change. Reaction. Result. Thats it.

So the opinion of the true players don’t matter huh? 😅

Nahh, fuck those guys lol. I only said it this way since FT players are the ones most effected by this. Kinda goes to show the saying of, “Be careful what you wish for.” really hits home in this scenario

I mean I wouldn’t say brain dead when they can see through smoke and shoot, and when you try to hide out of sight the new a.i’s apprently known exactly where you are. The biggest issue for me was there is like 15-25 that swarm you tanky ais that for some reason and take 2-3 shotgun blast point blank and maybe hell die on the third 1. And never understood why they buffed ai.

Only time I have trouble with AI is on excavation. AI from other maps vacation there i swear. They love spelunking or some shit. Always a 100 there

I remember when the game first came out I would just run and ignore the AI as FT. Now you will get wasted if you pretend they are not there. That is a good thing.

That’s what I like because takes the focus off Predator as much and requires you to balance your attention. If you focus on A.I. you get smoked by predator and if you focus solely on Predator you get smoked by A.I.

The AI are too tanky. In my opinion, they should do even more damage to be threatening to both the fireteam and predator, but have about half the health, so assault rifles can drop em quick.

Probably made it that way to force diversity in FT’s instead of running around with 4 assault deadlies. So, have a medic, assault, sniper, and either another medic or assault

It doesn’t really force diversity, it just encourages players to bring a shotgun or 2xl to deal with AI. Also, it greatly encourages the predator to fill the map with tons of AI and attack the fireteam while they’re preoccupied.

I feel FT wouldn’t cry about AI if

FT WOULD STAY THE FUCK OUT OF CAMPS THAT ARENT A PART OF THE MISSION AND DISABLED THE FUCKING ALARMS

They still spawn in front of the player
