A Possible Solution to the Leveling Issue

Disclaimer: I’m not bitching about the level cap. I honestly don’t care what Illfonic does, I love the game anyway and will continue playing.

So a lot of people have an issue with the 150 level cap, saying that afterwards there’s no reason to play because they want a progression system. While I don’t have an issue with this, since I’ve been playing at 150 for months, it would be cool to see a different type of progression system. So here’s my solution:
I’m assuming Ilfonic is hesitant to increase the level cap because they want to add new content for each level, like adding elder and new knifes for levels 100-150. They’re not increasing the level because they don’t have any new content to go with it. However, I really don’t think that’s necessary to increase the level cap. For every level, you get veritaneum and every 5-10 levels you get a certain amount of field lockers, sometimes even 10. This was really nice, and I would be great to keep getting rewards like that as we continue playing. So I think Illfonic could add a prestige system to the game to keep the level cap going without needing to add new content. When you hit 150, you would go back to prestige 1 level 1 and continue leveling. They don’t even have to change the veritaneum values for each level or the xp needed to level up, just reset the level back to one. You would lose no gear or items, you would just keep leveling after 150 and gain more money and field lockers. And if Illfonic wants to add additional content for each prestige a player can get in the future, they can totally do so. Perhaps sometime after the prestige system is implemented they could add a reward for reaching prestige 2 or 3. Just an idea for the devs that could be a simply improvement for the game overall. Not necessary, but a welcome change nonetheless. Thanks for the devotion to the game Illfonic and look forward to see what you have in store for the future!

Considering the level cap was set at 150 , what , 10 months ago? It speaks volumes on their work ethic .

While what you say makes sense? It all but confirms they don’t do much thinking ahead or think enough of the people that bought their product . 10 months with no level cap raised on a live service online only game? Thats just lazy and if anybody doesn’t think its lazy and a half assed approach at their job? Having bugs over 12 months after release that were there at release? They are in the wrong business and “devotion” is certainly not a word i think is associated with them .

The big one year anniversary of awesomeness was a stream past the anniversary date , where they gaslight the gullible and get a pat on the back for a terrible, low effort attempt at developing a game . Chuck needs to go back to the music business .

This was not a discussion on the ethics of Illfonic or the content schedule of their game. Just say if you agree or disagree and move on man.

Its a point on the comment I highlighted, you said it wasn’t raised because they never had any new cosmetics , it is a public forum ?

Ok so you disagreed with one point I had, then bitched about Illfonic for the rest of the paragraph. Very cool

What is wrong with you ? 😁 I said I agreed with the rest of what you said? Its ironic I posted feedback in a feedback thread and its an issue? Dont be offended, the truth hurts sometimes

I wasn’t offended… I just don’t care what you think about Illfonic’s business procedures, I’ll be honest. If you’re buthurt about that, I’m sorry. We’re talking about LEVELING here, not whether or not Illfonic is “devoted to their game.” If you agreed with me, then perhaps you have just said “yeah I agree” and then give reasons why. Not complain about Illfonic the whole time
