A Request for a Moment of Reflection.

Guys, Sadly, I believe we were once again Frustrated with another DLC Pack so Much Weak!.
Some forum members have already told me, the Illfonic is not a big game developer.
And that it is difficult to meet the High Demand of Requests and Suggestions that the Community has been placing on the Forum since the launch of the Game.
After I found out about this information, I changed my perspective on the Game a little bit.
Unfortunately, I still couldn’t Buy the 2 newly released DLC Packs (Isabelle and Cleopatra).
But I would like to ask for a Reflection, regarding the Content of these DLC Packs.
And some backing in this Post.
I think the Development Team of the Game, Is Not Knowing How to Differentiate a DLC Pack from a Correction Pack.
I say that, because Analyzing the Pack, we expect a whole month, for a “DLC Pack”, with Lots of Fixes, and very little Added Content.
I think considering that the Company doesn’t have as many Resources to Add in a DLC a New Map or a New Game Mode, at least in Custom Contents, the DLC should be MUCH Better.
Cleopatra was Added with a great look. But, tell me: Why the Weapon that came with Her, it just a Variation of the Smart Disc?.
Why Wasn’t a Weapon with references Egyptian Added?.
Why do they keep adding predator classes and soldier classes without exclusive items?
Without Something that really makes the cost of the DLC worth it.
I think it’s a huge mistake. We need to pay for a DLC; And we have Early Access to some New Item (For Exemple, a New Weapon).
I believe if the person really wants this item, that person will buy the DLC.
Again, No New Content has been added for the other Predator and Soldier Classes, which are already in the Game.
But I’m not talking, Face Paint, New Weapon and Armor Designs, New Predator Masks.
For the Game, This Doesn’t Change ANYTHING!.
That’s what They need to Understand.
The Fixes are great.
But now, we will have to wait another two months, until the end of October, to receive a New DLC Pack.
There is no Communication.
For example:
What could be Added to the '87 “Dutch” Soldier Class?.

  • Some Exclusive Uniform Variation, Same as the Original Movie, which would be a “Mythical Item”;
  • Aviator Glasses like the one in the Movie;
  • A New Knife, just like the one in the Movie;
  • A New Pistol, just like the one in the Movie;
  • An Exclusive Ability, when Applying Mud on the Body, this “Dutch” can be Invisible for a longer time;
  • In his Uniform, He already has Fragmentation Grenades. So it would not be necessary to select this Equipment; He would take 3 Normal Equipment, and just like a Bonus, He would still have 2 or 3 Grenades to use.
    -Etc.

Yeah , problem was I wasn’t running the demolisher class 🙄 . I maxed it out and was attempting to level up either gunner or medic I think

OWLF Agent. Elder. Alpha. In all fairness we’ve got plenty of freebies in Predator Hunting Grounds too.

And we can bet our asses that Cold Iron will be charging for some of their add-ons.

Why wouldn’t they? Its not uncommon ? Arent they dropping a free class next week? And they will more than likely drop something relevant to the name the IP has. There is a difference between illfonic and cold iron , both launches were different and two different styles of game .

Hunting grounds basically dropped a paid beta with two extra maps , amongst false advertising. cold irons game has issues and they should be given the benefit of the doubt (as illfonic was) until they reach the levels in the period of time illfonic have (if they even do reach such a low).

They don’t need freebies , they need a game that functions , their “freebies” are the equivalent of diamond rims on the shell of a written off car wreck.

You have skins you can try and use if your game doesn’t bug and if matchmaking actually works , congratulations.

No need to apologise either 👍🏻, my eyes done the same thing when I read the article on your site about how they fixed balance and matchmaking before release, so I guess we are even

Within a month of the game being dropped.

They also produced the game with 40-50 people

Illfonic literally are getting swept right now.

They have lost the path in which the community would have enjoyed seeing. Instead they are just here to make a quick buck for their next quick buck project.

These drops are literally turning into cosmetic re-skins with no uniqueness to buff up the base of the game to make it perform better or play better.

So disconnected from their community and literally becoming a laughing stock of the franchise.

They sold me Isabelle with 160 HP in preview stats, just to find out that she has 130 HP and 10 perk points with 7 points for gear. I felt scammed, I barely play her 'cause she can get one shot by any Pred lol.

I mean, for someone who spent a year on an alien planet, killing Preds + she’s a pro sniper, getting downed in 1 shot is just hilarious. It’s the worst 7 euros I’ve spent on this game. Never again.

The only “ranged” weapon the solo side has gotten in a year and a half is the wrist launcher lmao and its intentionally terrible. They don’t even try to make it better.
Even if they decided every single request from the community was unplayable on paper, there are still no ranged weapons. The lack of variety because they’re terrified of something being on par with bow or caster because it means more balancing work for them is just crap.

The struggles of asymmetrical pvp. They say they like where the balance is so they’re avoiding actually introducing anything new (other than all the new stuff for FT & soul swapping bots, apparently thats balanced as long as its more stuff for FT)

Just reskins with slight tweaks mostly. The AFT classes are true classes. For example you can’t carry a rocket launcher unless you play demolisher and each have specific abilities or weapons. In PHG you can use any gun or gear or perk with any class.

They might charge for some stuff eventually but if they do it won’t feel like just another reskinned Dutch or a zerker with a viking costume.

I maxed demolisher and moved on to gunner and medic , but I think I will maybe jump to recon as they seem a decent class?
