A shitty review of a review

I’m not defending ign here as much as I am calling both of them an idiot

He’s constantly bringing up review scores from OTHER ign reviewers and treating them the same as if they were written by the current person on topic.

Seriously ign may be a company but each reviewer is still an individual with individual opinions.

Just because one person thinks the original xenoblade is a 9 and another dude thinks that the improved version is an 8 doesn’t mean there’s any hypocrisy or logical fallacies.

Oh and the too much water complaint is actually legit ignoring the poor wording

Some of the stuff he says is good though like most of days gone, doom, and alien isolation

Not everyone’s going to feel the same out a game, but if it’s a critical review it should be unbiased as much as possible (which probably never happens). One thing that has happened in the past (i know of one occasion) is that they went back and re-reviewed a game (not sure if it was the same reviewer and change his/her score/review or if someone else did it and the original was taken down). Metal gear solid for ps originally received a 6 or 7 something and was changed to 8 or 9 something.
