there’s a lot of disadvantages in using a controller (and advantages as well). it aint your fault. is the design

however tapping a button with your thumb on a controller is much faster than tapping a key with your index finger on your left hand (supposing you are right handed)

the problem with the controller fire button is that is located in your trigger, and it is more difficult to do it faster

although… there are people who shoot real guns at extremely fast rates. i dunno what the difference would be between a hair trigger and a controller trigger, but I supposed there could be mods that would help you achieve it

I don’t see why would that be a problem. It can be done in a real gun and is perfectly legal and does not ban you from competitions. as a matter of fact, almost everyone in serious shooting competitions use that

then you have controllers with paddles, which are currently being used on esports without any negative feedback

This is the 2nd item I have witnessed asking to not be lumped with said people. (Fair putting his foot down with said video above. PC player calling out other PC players)

It’s basically turning the semi auto pistol into full auto without any effort or drawbacks at all and there’s nothing wrong with that in their eyes.

Oh ho but he passed the clicker trainer test that justifies automating clicking in a game to do so consistently while aiming so he doesn’t have to do two things at once like everyone else!
I too can click fast, let me just break out my macro for this single fire weapon or break this net!

Ridiculous and we’ve been dealing with these people getting things nerfed to shit in RTS’s and MOBAs forever.

Hey someone out there in the world trained their body to click it faster than the vast majority of people ever could therefore it’s fair game for me to use this to do the same without any effort.

Congratulations! You just beat your own CPS record in the game! I just measured time in video and it took you 58 frames to empty clip of 30 bullets. A bit of math… 58 frames in 30 FPS video is 1.933 seconds so it was 15,517 CPS!!! Wow, what a great result considering you have to aim.

Maybe your macro needs to be readjusted…

you forgot to factor in the test is 5 seconds and the clip is 2

also… i wasn’t playing at 30fps… I just forgot to update the title in restream because I wasnt really streaming for me, it was just a friend (chopra) that ask me to start the stream so he could watch

If you did that without macro, then you really have some impressive clicking speed.
To me it looks like a macro.

Factor what? CPS = Clicks Per Second So there is no factor to compare CPS from test and CPS from game.

my mouse just broke this morning… dunno what’s happening. maybe somebody here is a wizard and cursed me. is working fine on my laptop but for some reason it keeps getting disconnected out of nowhere this morning. I think my usb drivers got corrupted or something because… fucking windows

Ok so i’m going to take Jelou at Face value that he can click that fast according to the jpeg (albeit at 14.4 he can’t perform exactly as fast as that macro but we’ll pretend)

So Jelou do you believe you can shoot 15 of the rounds of a grim tech per second while also being able to aim down it’s sights straight so not missing any shots 100%? of the time cause a macro allows one to do this

which as someone with a FG background the ability to perform consistently is in itself is a show of skill if you are finding a way around this to circumvent the possibility of human error than you are cheating cause human error exists which is a sign of your nerves are untrained or that they haven’t mastered there character in a way the same as when a player drops a key combo when their opponent is at 20% and the player is 5% which causes them to lose

reality is, macro is not even 100% accurate because of recoil and misses shots. if I were to aim down, i’d probably shoot slower but I would hit every bullet because I could use recoil compensation with hand movement. so I’d save ammo at the expense of not enjoying the gorgeous sound of an automatic 9mm

anyway, didn’t came here to validate my use or change my opinion. The original post was meant for people to provide why you consider it cheating, which some have put down fair points, while others, not so much.

Nobody even answered one of the questions: " how can the game or other players tell if is a macro or not?"

In the end… is just a casual game. People will do whatever they want. We all paid for the game and everyone plays it as they want. Camping on rooftops, abusing exploits, etc.

You can all get mad, call others cheaters, refuse to play with certain players, etc. Is your decision, but nothing is going to change until developers fix those things, which, by the apparent lack of feedback to the community, is very unlikely to happen.

I am one that have called out for an animation interaction for the netgun instead of the “mini-game”, but they have not done anything… oh well… maybe the macro abusers will lead to they actually making something about it
