Pred queue times are already long because around 30% of the players queue up for pred. As long as that percentage does not go down to 20%, Pred queue times will remain high. If you “punish” FT players, preventing them from re-queueing instantly, you will take them out of that equation and queue times for Pred will go even higher.

You don’t want to wait or is it frustrating? Befriend some people and play some privates. While I can attest some will get salty about using modifiers and shit, others will be happy to accept them as long as they are not over powerful and provide a fun and fair experience for everyone.

I play with mods all the time among friends because there is no way in hell I can beat even two of them. They agree, we all have fun. They usually still win but at least I don’t feel like I had my ass handed whooped.

If I hear a 5 year old in the lobby, I’ll leave

If I spot, parry and fight the pred while the rest of the team is actively running away in the opposite direction I will leave as soon as I get claimed, unless I collected a substantial amount of VT

If I see certain Pred players that play sweaty even against potatoes and I am playing solo with randoms, I’ll leave

I’m glad quitting because of bullshit isn’t frowned upon here. I quit matches a lot, because of the same reasons you specify. If I’m the only person who’s actively looking out, spotting and engaging the Pred, and I die? I’m out. If I die and I notice no one is trying to fight back so I can get revived, I’m out. If I have squeakers on my team, I’ll play with them, but I will not depend on them. My play style is use my teammates as bait, and once the Pred comes for them, I strike.

I’ve come to see this game as like a fishing game; the other three FT are the worms, and the Pred the big fish. And I use the worms as bait, hoping to score that big catch. Tends to make the game more interesting for me, but also veerrryyyy infuriating when it backfires and your teammates suck combistick.
