If i know I’m not gonna win and my teammates are camping, I’ll purposefully go over to them and attract the Pred. I will go live, not mud up, and talk shit to the guy until the Pred finds us, because fuck that.

when pred engages me first I will quit 9 times out of 10.
Granted, 9 times out of 10, I go looking for it, so I may stay for a while if I see some potential.
But sometimes, you just know you are being targeted because you know, you are on PC, you must be good… which is bullshit because when I play with randoms, in both PC and Console most players are equally trash. Which is even worse with PC, as I dunno how somebody can be that bad aiming with a fucking mouse. Maybe they are playing on an amazon basics mouse, I don’t know…
Thankfully on steam I can literally change my name after every match and I am doing so (not after every match but at least twice per night) so nobody knows who the fuck I am and they stop that bullshit, or quitting lobbies when I play pred (and I aint even good as pred)

Usually when the Pred engages me first, its because I made a mistake in not hiding properly or I’m lagging behind. Usually I do quit those matches, because I know my team won’t live to revive me. I would stay awhile, and try not to actively GO looking for the Pred at first lol. I usually chase after dealing decent damage, and especially after second wind.
I’m a PS5 player…I know, I know. But I’m actively trying to better myself so I don’t suck as much ass. I actually listen to clicks and footsteps, try to spot, and don’t run away scared when the Pred is in the area.
I throw sound decoys at them. Sometimes they move

I’m trying to learn the art of using decoys. Most of my builds don’t have decoys, but maybe I should switch some out and try them.

Honestly from what Ive seen, game runs better on PS5 (more stable) than it does on PC.
As much as many people want to deny it (because of ignorance) playing on a controller isn’t as bad as they make it sound and you can be quite good. You just need to get used to it. Granted, mouse is easier and more precise, but I was still outperforming other PC players on M&K while I was playing on controller.
Is just a different approach. Don’t expect to be doing sawz headshots consistently on a controller, but at close range? Even hoppity hoppers weren’t much of a match for me… Even back before all the FT buffs.
Honestly and it’s probably because i went from console to PC but I can NOT play as pred on M&K. FT fine, what I lack in mobility I make up for in aim but with Pred WASD just ain’t cutting it
Takes a while. I normally play all 3rd person games on a controller, but because of the precision I need for pred, I started using M&K for it. i did a lot of key rebinds so my left hand is just used for wasd while my right hand controls the rest; weapon switching, aim, vision cloak, leap, fire, etc.
I still jump with the space bar, though I rarely jump
For whatever reason PHG only picks up 4 buttons on my mouse. Best I could do was thumb for leap and wheel for weapons. Vision, cloak, all had to be left hand. After being called a trash noob enough I switched to controller. Now I still get called trash noob but it doesn’t feel as deserved lol
Use a third party software for remaps.

Yeah. Only mouse functions PHG doesn’t pickup for my mouse is Horizontal scrolls. I dont use them, but should I need them, ill just use something like xmouse and remap them
I’ll ask about that sometime. Still new to PC and wary of 3rd party tools.
