Add "snappier" aim assit to PS4, then balance for play aginst top level PC fireteams.

Aimbot is not necessary and if you don’t think aim assist is not aimbot, don’t even. I play on my PS4 account all of the time with this and I don’t have a problem, do I have a controller that is better than most? Yes, because I don’t spend a fiver on a shitty controller.

You forget the lower framerate ps4 players have that alone is a serious issue

then complain to sony that they gave you a shit paperweight in trade for your significant amount of money

Hey, no need for that, I know they are paperweights and you play on them too but I don’t see how giving such a cheat to the playstation would help

The framerate problem is with this game not with the ps4 but you can’t even get 120 fps on console that is just not possible

Because look at COD Warzone’s crossplay. They need the aim assist to even keep up. Currently the pred can just sprint around ps4 teams in a circle and they will never be able to hit it. It’s not even remotely challenging, nor is it fun getting matched with ps4 fireteams because they have a huge issue tracking moving targets.

cod has aim assist because uncoordinated kids lose their minds unless they have aimbots

It’s not an “aimbot.” It’s a function to help controllers hit moving targets because the vast majority can’t and steamrolling people playing a shooter with a controller gets incredibly boring.

Because you want an aimbot so bad, you don’t mind if keyboard and mouse also has it, right? Because yes, there are such things as controller emulators that aren’t software (undetectable) in which the game thinks the person is using a controller but is really using a keyboard and mouse. So is that okay?

Mouse and keyboard doesn’t need a sticky reticule you brainlet because a mouse is more responsive than sticks. It would just make you overcompensate your shots. Are you scared the console players will actually be able to hit you while sprinting?

Aim assist is the worst.

I can hit a moving target just fine, with the precision of a M&K hell nah, few people can.

Aim assist is also a BS shit frustration from anyone who wants to hold and angle or point, over even a hall. I dont need my reticle moved for me. And sure hell no when someone cross a door way and I have to fight the stupid drag the pulls ir slightly when I dont need it too.

Exactly. Cross play is great, but the on/off button is there for reasons like this if needed.

This thread makes no sense, because top level PS4 can go toe-to-toe, but you want to balance the play around top level, even though most people who want this are not top level. You can’t balance casual play with top level play and expect the equation to work, it just doesn’t.

sooo aimbot?

Vast majority of games do not balance around top level, especially not shooters but ok. And I say this as a sweaty tryhard. Casuals play, die, call something OP and then quit which is why they’re largely catered to, because they make up a huge fraction of the playerbase. Meanwhile what % of players are level 100 and still playing?
Anyway, this game at its core right now can’t function competitively because the skill ceilings between FT and pred are way skewed so it doesn’t matter.

Everything is skewed actually. PC’s lack of bullet drop is a problem. The VAST MAJORITY of console players not being able to hit anything moving is a problem on the opposite end of the spectrum. Console shooters have aim assist for a reason, whether its preferable or helpful to their top percentile of players is a different debate.

Tired of being matched with potatoes tired of being matched against potatoes.

So apparently people from the PC don’t have bullet drop but PS4 players do on their guns? Do you know how insane that sounds?

Aimbot, I am sorry, aim-assist won’t fix this, this will only mask the problem for a small amount of time. You can mod controllers now to be as good at precision as a mouse, don’t believe me, go look.

No the lack of bullet drop allows KBM to land stupid shots at stupid distances without leading anything. It caps the skill ceiling at point -> click.

Yes aim assist would be able to atleast let them hit a sprinting pred with any kind of reliability. Just like it lets them hit sprinting targets moving across the screen in other shooters. Or y’know avp2010. This isn’t some new science.

It also isn’t science that console players use aim assist as a crutch to not either learning to play better, not getting better equipment, both, or something else entirely.

It’s a “crutch” because they’re playing with sticks on a shooter dude. You’ll still have your mouse advantage dw about it.

I play with a “pro-modded” ps4 controller but thanks for assuming and I have no problem dropping bodies as either predator or fireteam, that’s why I know there is no excuse.
