Disclosure. I play on PC
PS4 Players apparently need more help aiming to play against PC Predators. Add a snappier ADS and more reticle “stickiness” for console players. Maybe even lower recoil and hip fire spread. Whatever they need. They’re easy to annihilate. Most PS4 teams still can’t do anything against Berserkers and will just quit a match when they see they’re playing one.
Then you can balance the game for PC against top level fireteams. (Fix spotting, PARRY, Pred noise, damage falloff, fireteam speed, etc. whatever you wanna do or find that works)
EDIT: So there is A LOT of animosity in the comments here. Just to clarify, I’m not saying console players suck or lack skill. Mouse aim is simply superior. That’s not to say that some console players aren’t really good. To understand using just one example, let’s talk about the 180 turn. Being able to make a really fast 180 degree turn is extremely useful. You can’t do it on a controller without turning the sensitivity way up. Doing that means you sacrifice the ability to make super fine adjustments, and therefore it’s harder to hit headshots. Not without needing to make a lot of corrections for overshooting your target, meaning your not landing as many shots as quickly. If your sense is really low, you can make fine adjustments more easily, but you sacrifice being able to make larger movements quickly, meaning tracking a fast moving target is harder. Mouse aim allows for a wider range of movements. You can adjust using arm, wrist and finger movement respectively, giving you greater control over your aim and speed, regardless of your sensitivity. VS a controller, where all movements are controlled by the thumb. No one is dissing controllers, or consoles. I like consoles and I enjoy playing a lot of games with a controller. And yes, you can be effective in a shooter with a controller, but you’ll never outplay a player of equal skill who is using a mouse.
