If you release aim, and then re-aim again before the the lowerimg animation is done, you won’t proceed to aim.

Happens alot. Its not the most fluid in cancelling animations.
It is the most annoying thing about this game IMHO.
Take time to reload, take time to melee, take time to use the AUV, take time to aim/scope aim, take time to switch weapons.
Don’t press more than one button at a time.
