I understand people being mad about losing a game and not wanting to lose but the amount of people being absolutely absurd cussing out the predator and accusing them of cheating are ridiculous it’s ludicrous to have to explain to people why we lost as the fireteam while they just want to complain but I personally have run into a cheater who would one shot my team with the wrist blade this has only happened once to me but I would hate for it to be something that ruins the game and I get the reason why grenades deal damage to friendlies but they are used fairly often by players to troll each other and it takes a lot of the fun away from not only FT but also the Predator when he only gets to claim a free kill that they didn’t earn not sure how to solve the latter problem but I just think these things should be addressed now
After balancing toxicity and cheating will need to be addressed
I wouldn’t get your hopes up, illfonic are pretty lazy when it comes to cheaters/exploiters
I know changes were slow for F13 but illfonic weren’t the ones putting out the patches for it that was on gun media but I believe it helped them learn a lot from those mistakes and my hopes still aren’t to high due to the issues that the world is dealing with and illfonic has grown considerably since F13 let’s just hope this game doesn’t have to deal with a lawsuit like F13
From what I’ve seen they’ve really learned very little from those mistakes, hell they still did the same shit of rebinds being limited and servers being dogshit
Toxicity is a must. You can’t run a game with these kind of Toxicity. I saw one discussion calling out players name and it’s surprised me…
I wouldn’t know about the rebinds and I don’t know for certain if it’s their servers or how their matchmaking works que times for predator are going to be long but that’s to be expected with everyone wanting to be the ultimate hunter even if predator is a little on the weak side and games like this won’t always attract people who are in the same server network I’ve had matches with people who live in Ireland that are playing on U.S. servers because not enough people are playing in their area and the game is trying to put them in a game in the nearest server instead so I think they should add something that says which server you’re connected to I assume we are on dedicated servers because F13 showed how bad peer to peer is and why it’s rarely used in most multiplayer games and why it later received it’s own servers and at the of the day the game concept is different as not only a asymmetrical game but as a asymmetrical fps/third person game after the game is in a good place balance wise the number of players will increase hopefully so people can play on their local servers
It would be nice if after the next balance patch they address the issues within the community itself just because of how much confusion there is between both FT and predator players on which side should be stronger it won’t ever be perfect but anything is better than nothing
