AI and the Minimap

As a FT player primarily I think there could be a simple change that would make fights with the AI more exciting: stop showing them as red arrows on the minimap unless they are shooting.

Killing the AI is already super easy. Many times they don’t shoot and when they do the damage is minimal. They are an afterthought and I find myself way more worried about the predator than the AI and the mission.

By removing them from the minimap this will at least make it a little bit more challenging and I can focus on the main screen rather than just staring at the minimap and waiting for them to come around a corner.

As a FT player I WANT to have to worry about the AI and the Predator. Please give the AI more purpose and credibility by only showing them on the minimap if they are shooting!

The AI certainly needs a revamp. The AI as of now is very underwhelming to fight and they’re not very smart in terms of detecting players and reacting appropriately to the situation. Also spawns for the AI are a little odd, they should be spawned further away and at increased numbers, the massive bases on the map should be FILLED with enemies to make it immersive and realistic feeling. Also AI have to be aware of enemy gunfire, it destroys immersion when there’s full auto fire going on throughout the base and there are still patrol’s and NPC’s unaware of the massive firefight that’s been happening, only alarms will trigger their agro which is sad.

I agree. AI not really a threat currently. Game would be more dynamic and challenging and playable with a little more tweaking of the AI.
