After the hotfix on 30 Oct. the AI bots are now moving or sliding around really fast at ridiculous movement speeds and even warping across the map. It’s mostly happening with fire team bots, but it also happens with regular AI. It looks like a speed hack. I experienced this playing on Xbox Series X on 1 GB fiber directly connected to my router. I haven’t had a chance to test it on my PC yet. People on other platforms are experiencing this as well. Reinstalling, deleting local save files, and clearing cache does not fix this bug. This is game breaking at times when the AI warps all over the place.

Talking about AI bots - they seem to be teleporting across the map sometimes to keep up with the rest of the fireteam.

Yeah it’s really noticable when playing as the predator and can be game breaking, especially for new players. My friends and I have seen the AI warp across the map then speed run at more than triple their normal speed right to a cloaked predator’s exact location and shoot the predator that was perfectly invisible and not moving or making sounds. It’s ridiculous now. A fireteam player with AI bots can use this for their advantage to find cloaked predators. Also the AI are often in statue poses without any movement animation. Didn’t have this issue before the update. @Doom I hope the devs are prioritizing a hot fix to roll out soon for this issue as it is quite game breaking.

Also report that AI now spawn like crazy. I mean crazy crazy. Sometimes 12/14/15 in a matter of a second literally. And red dots don’t show in minimap. Those same AI’s can start follow/shoot the same FT member at the same time which is a game breaker.

Hello, just following up on this game breaking issue. Does it look like we can get a hotfix for this soon? It’s really hard to enjoy the game right now with the AI fireteam zooming/teleporting around like Sonic the Hedgehog. Sonic wants his shoes back. You can be standing next to the AI bots, then within seconds, they disappear across the map. They can outrun the fastest predators easily now. It’s very hard for the predator to track and hit the AI fireteam when they are doing this. Does the team need some videos of this?
Since they nerfed pred buffing ai seems like a balance thing
But its no fun like this, ai is just annoying and preds are shit

I feel like they’re catering more and more to little kids and new players every update. They know they’ll choose FT more over Predator because of popular FPS in that age demo so they buff AI, buff FT, and nerf Pred to make it easier.

Lol nobody cares about the ratings, never have. The only thing I remember anyone doing anything about them was back in the late 90s, early 00s when the ratings system was still new, stores wouldn’t allow kids to buy them on their own, UNLESS they had their parent with them who said yes, which was ridiculous. Nowadays nobody bats an eye, a 12yo with $50 can walk into a Gamestop or Walmart and buy GTAV or Black Ops 6 and no one cares.
Oh, there I go, thinking with my ancient mind again. Hahah. Yeah, no, a 3yo can buy PHG with no issues by just going online and hitting “purchase” then “download”. And the parents don’t care. That’s why there’s so many squeakers in the jungle, especially now that its on xbox.

and sometimes they’ll find the video and be like “take it down take it down”
The AI’s sent a mail to illfonic, complaining that the Predator was rollerblading and sliding too fast up on the branches in patch 2.50, the AI’s said they wanted equality, and now they got to try the speed too.
One AI who carried and fired his gun from under his feets told me this.
