I really do hope this is not intended. It really sucks to be running away and then you lose because being shot by the ai means no second wind.
No, I had not used a second wind at all. Was only a few minutes in.

Is this a one off incident, or something that’s happened multiple times? I’ve seen a Predator out in second wind and downed by AI at the exfil while trying to prevent our escape but a straight kill is news to me.
Had this happen once with a tick of hp remaining. It acts like you suicided being out of map bounds.
Might have to be a distance from FT
It just happened in a game! I was among the huts so had broken los and aggro’d the ai who shot the last sliver of health I had. Straight to my knees :(
Happened a few time snow for me. I could do some testing and see if it happens every time but I’m leaning towards it will.

Then this has to be another bug🙄 That shouldn’t happen if it isn’t something Fireteam can make happen to the Predator. Devs definitely need to check into this and respond👍🏼
Had also this happen to me in a match.
I had just made friends with the FT and one wanted to 1v1 while the others ran the mission.
AI killed me while I was collecting the skull (it was a friendly duel but that wall isn’t going to decorate itself now is it?) and I went immediately into the give up/self destruct.
I think this is intended.
but if it is why would they make it like that? it just doesn’t make sense to me to code it in that the ai finishes the game. totally fine if i’m in the second wind animation and the ai kills me but I can’t see any reason/logic to how it currently is

I kind of assumed it was to desuade the Predator from dying to AI?
So if Fireteam are busy doing the mission and this happens to the Predator somewhere away from the AO, the game ends with no mission success or Predator Killed win for Fireteam? Because that sucks. But it would suck even more if the Fireteam are being awarded the victory. I haven’t seen this myself, but from the messages here it seems like a bug that many have experienced and needs fixing because it would feel insulting to be handed a win by the AI.
Gives you the empty jungle screen post game as if the pred suicided in my experience.

In this case the predator could self destruct and it would be very unlikely that the FT could get to him and disarm him in time.
This ending the match as a loss for the FT and a win (self destruct successful) for the Predator.
Yes that happened. I hit F, it was a reflex forgive me.

If your mask is removed you don’t get 2nd wind, don’t know if this is intentional or a bug. Tested many times.
You dont get 2nd winded in a private match by yourself, I’m trying g to fix the key bindings for the selfdestruct and if they kill me I get about 1 sec to activate before the match ends
still had my mask in this game

Ya got cheated out of killing the last FT member when AI downed me eating a boar. Haven’t played since that occurrence lol
